Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

The PTX30R utilizes a dual power system. It comes with a COAST ZITHION-X rechargeable battery and a USB-C charging cable. Alternatively, a single CR123 battery can be used for backup power (not included).

To charge the ZITHION-X battery, remove it from the light and connect it to the USB-C charging cable.
Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.
Insert the charged ZITHION-X battery or a fresh CR123 battery into the light's battery compartment.

Mounting the Weapon Light

The PTX30R features a Tru-Fit™ mounting system compatible with both Universal and Picatinny rails. This system allows for tool-free installation.

Identify your rail type (Universal or Picatinny).
Adjust the mount on the PTX30R to match your rail type by sliding the selector switch.
Align the light with your weapon's rail.

Operating Instructions

Activating the Light

The PTX30R features ambidextrous controls for intuitive operation, allowing for both momentary and steady-on activation.

Momentary On: Press and hold either of the ambidextrous paddle switches. The light will remain on as long as the switch is held. Release to turn off.
Steady On: Press and quickly release either of the ambidextrous paddle switches. The light will remain on until the switch is pressed and released again.

Dim light output: The battery may be low. Recharge the ZITHION-X battery or replace the CR123 battery.

Mounting issues: Verify the Tru-Fit™ selector switch is set to the correct rail type (Universal or Picatinny) and the coin-tightening screw is fully tightened.
