4. Setup

4.1 Device Overview

Familiarize yourself with the device's buttons and indicators:

• Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off. Double-click for self-test page.
• Custom Button: For one-touch offline printing modes.
• Indicator Light: Shows power status, charging status, and connection status.
• Type-C Port: For charging the device.

4.2 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the label maker. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the device and a USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.

4.3 Loading Label Paper

1. Open the label compartment cover.
2. Insert the label roll with the printing surface facing upwards, ensuring it is aligned correctly within the guides.
3. Pull a small portion of the label paper out past the printer's exit slot.
4. Close the label compartment cover firmly.

4.4 App Installation

The NIIMBOT B2 Pro requires the "NIIMBOT" app for full functionality.

• For Mobile Devices (iOS/Android): Download the "NIIMBOT" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• For PC (Windows): Visit the official NIIMBOT website to download the PC software and drivers.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting to the Device

1. Ensure the B2 Pro label maker is turned on and fully charged.
2. For Mobile: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Open the "NIIMBOT" app, search for your device (e.g., "B2 Pro-XXXX"), and connect.
3. For PC: Connect via Bluetooth or USB cable. Open the NIIMBOT PC software, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect.

5.2 Printing from Mobile

1. Open the "NIIMBOT" app and ensure your B2 Pro is connected.
2. Select a template or create a new label.
3. Edit text, add icons, images, barcodes, or QR codes.
4. Preview your label and tap the print icon. Adjust print settings (e.g., number of copies) if needed.
5. Confirm to print.

5.3 Printing from PC

1. Ensure the B2 Pro is connected to your PC via Bluetooth or USB.
2. Launch the NIIMBOT PC software.
3. Design your label using the software's interface.
4. Click the print button, adjust settings, and confirm.

5.4 Offline Printing

The B2 Pro supports three configurable offline printing modes via the custom button:

• Mode 1: Print Real Time: Prints the current date and time.
• Mode 2: Print the Last Record: Prints the last label design sent from the app.
• Mode 3: Design [My Template]: Prints a pre-saved template configured in the app.

To use, ensure the device is on and press the custom button to cycle through or activate the desired mode.

5.5 Photo Printing

The B2 Pro can print photos in grayscale. Load compatible grayscale photo paper and use the NIIMBOT app to select and print your images.

5.6 Red & Black Dual-Color Printing

For labels with red and black elements, ensure you are using specific red-black dual-color label paper. The NIIMBOT app will allow you to design labels utilizing both colors.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To maintain print quality, clean the print head regularly:

1. Turn off the label maker and open the label compartment.
2. Gently wipe the print head with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
3. Allow the print head to dry completely before closing the cover and using the device.

6.2 Battery Care

• Charge the device using the provided Type-C cable and a standard USB power adapter.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.

7.1 Common Issues

• Device not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is on, the device is charged, and within range. Restart both the label maker and your mobile device/PC.
• Poor print quality: Check if the label paper is loaded correctly. Clean the print head. Ensure you are using genuine NIIMBOT labels.
• Paper jam: Turn off the device, open the compartment, and carefully remove any jammed paper.
• App not detecting device: Close and reopen the app. Ensure location services are enabled for the app (on some Android devices).

7.2 Firmware Upgrade

To continuously improve user experience and connection stability, NIIMBOT may release firmware updates. If you encounter connection issues, especially on Android, performing a firmware update may resolve them.

1. Via iOS Device: Connect the printer to your iOS device. Open the NIIMBOT app, navigate to device settings, and follow the on-screen prompts to update the firmware.
2. Via PC: Connect the printer to your PC using a data cable. Launch the PC version of the NIIMBOT app, go to device settings, and follow the instructions to complete the firmware update.
