4. Water Level (for Submersible Use)

For submersible applications, ensure the water level is sufficient to completely cover the pump. Operating the pump without adequate water can lead to overheating and activate the auto-power-off function.

5. Power Connection

Once the pump is securely placed and, if applicable, submerged, connect the power cord to a properly grounded electrical outlet with GFCI protection.

Operating

1. Power On/Off

Plug the pump into the electrical outlet to turn it on. Unplug it to turn it off.

2. Adjusting Flow Rate

3. Auto-Power-Off Function

This pump is equipped with an auto-power-off feature. If the water level drops too low or the pump runs dry, it will automatically shut off to prevent burnout. The pump will restart once sufficient water is added.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pump.

1. Cleaning the Filter

The pump includes a foam filter to prevent debris from entering. Periodically remove the filter and rinse it under clean water to remove accumulated dirt and debris. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively clogged.

2. Cleaning the Pump

The pump is designed to be detachable for easy cleaning. Disconnect the power, then carefully disassemble the pump components. Use a soft brush and clean water to remove any algae, mineral deposits, or debris from the impeller and housing. Reassemble all parts securely before reconnecting power.

3. Winterization (for Outdoor Use)

If using the pump outdoors in regions with freezing temperatures, remove the pump from the water feature before the first frost. Clean it thoroughly, dry it, and store it in a dry, frost-free location until spring.
