1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of your Zebronics Cube Gaming PC Cabinet, model ZEB-MERCURY 25. This cabinet is designed to accommodate mATX and ITX motherboards, offering a compact yet versatile platform for your gaming PC build.

3. Initial Setup Guide

Before beginning the installation process, ensure you have a clean, static-free workspace. Gather all necessary tools, including screwdrivers, cable ties, and anti-static wrist strap if available.

3.1. Unpacking the Cabinet

  1. Carefully remove the PC cabinet from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the cabinet for any signs of damage during transit. Contact customer support immediately if any damage is found.
  3. Remove all protective films from the tempered glass panels.
  4. Locate the accessory box inside the cabinet, which contains screws, cable ties, and other small components.

4. Component Installation

4.1. Motherboard Installation

The ZEB-MERCURY 25 supports mATX and ITX motherboards. Ensure the correct standoffs are installed for your motherboard size.

  1. Install the I/O shield into the rear opening of the cabinet.
  2. Align your motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs.
  3. Secure the motherboard using the provided screws. Do not overtighten.

4.2. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

This cabinet features a bottom-mount PSU design within a dual chamber layout for improved thermal management and aesthetics.

  1. Position the PSU in its designated compartment at the bottom rear of the cabinet.
  2. Secure the PSU using the screws provided with your power supply.
  3. Route the necessary cables through the cable management cutouts to the main chamber.

4.3. Storage Drive Installation

The cabinet supports 1 x 3.5" HDD and 2 x 2.5" SSD drives.

  1. Locate the drive bays/mounts behind the motherboard tray or in the PSU shroud area.
  2. Mount your 3.5" HDDs and 2.5" SSDs using the provided screws.
  3. Connect SATA data and power cables to the installed drives.

4.4. Cooling System Installation (Fans & Radiators)

The ZEB-MERCURY 25 comes with three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans and supports additional fans and radiators.

  • Pre-installed Fans: The cabinet includes 3 x 120mm ARGB fans (1 center infinity ARGB, 2 reverse-blade).
  • Additional Fan Support:
    • Top: Up to 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans (optional)
    • Rear: 1 x 120mm fan (pre-installed)
    • Side: Up to 2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans (optional)
    • Bottom: Up to 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans (optional)
  • Radiator Support:
    • Top: Up to 360mm AIO cooler.

Ensure proper airflow direction for optimal cooling. The pre-installed fans are configured for balanced airflow. Refer to Figure 4.6 for an enhanced airflow diagram.

5. Front I/O Connectivity

The front I/O panel provides convenient access to essential ports and controls.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.

6.1. Dust Filter Cleaning

The ZEB-MERCURY 25 is equipped with top and bottom magnetic dust filters. These should be cleaned periodically to prevent dust buildup and maintain efficient airflow.

  1. Gently remove the magnetic dust filters from the top and bottom of the cabinet.
  2. Clean the filters using compressed air, a soft brush, or by rinsing them with water (ensure they are completely dry before reattaching).
  3. Reattach the filters to their respective positions.

6.2. General Cleaning

  • Use a microfiber cloth to wipe down exterior surfaces, especially the tempered glass panels.
  • For interior cleaning, use compressed air to remove dust from fans and other components. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues that may arise during or after the assembly of your PC within the ZEB-MERCURY 25 cabinet.
