3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Mounting the Dash Cam
The SakerPlus dash cam is designed for rearview mirror mounting. Securely attach the main unit to your vehicle's rearview mirror using the provided mounting bracket. Ensure the front camera has a clear view of the road ahead.
3.2 Connecting the Cameras
The system includes four cameras: front, rear, left, and right. The main unit houses the front camera. The side cameras are adjustable to effectively reduce blind spots. Connect the rear camera to the main unit and route its cable to the rear of the vehicle. Position the rear camera to capture the view behind your vehicle.

3.3 Power Connection

4.3 G-Sensor Emergency Video Protection

4.6 HDR Function

5. Maintenance
5.1 SD Card Management
While loop recording manages storage, it is recommended to periodically format the SD card (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent potential data corruption. Always back up important footage before formatting. If the dash cam displays a "Format card" prompt frequently, it may indicate a need for formatting or a potential issue with the SD card itself.
5.2 Cleaning
Gently clean the dash cam lenses and screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.
6. Troubleshooting
- "No Card" or "Format card" Error: Ensure the SD card is correctly inserted. If the error persists, try reformatting the card via the dash cam's menu. If the issue continues, the SD card may be faulty and require replacement.
- Poor Video Quality: Verify that the recording resolution is set to 1080P in the settings. Clean the camera lenses to remove any dirt or smudges. Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
- Dash Cam Not Powering On/Charging: Check all power connections, including the car power adapter and the vehicle's power outlet. Ensure the vehicle's power outlet is functional.
- Rear Camera Not Displaying: Check the cable connection between the rear camera and the main unit. Ensure the cable is not damaged or pinched.
