2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Ensure proper grounding of the inverter.
- Do not disassemble the inverter. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Install the inverter in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
- Verify battery voltage and polarity before connecting to the inverter.
- The inverter is designed for 220V/230V/240V single-phase output. Do not connect to 110V split-phase systems directly without an appropriate step-down transformer.

5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Site Selection
Choose a dry, cool, and well-ventilated location. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, and moisture. Ensure sufficient clearance around the inverter for proper airflow.
5.2 Wiring Connections
All wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.
- Battery Connection: Connect the 12V or 24V battery bank to the inverter's battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity. The inverter is compatible with AGM, Lithium, LiFePO4, and other battery types.
- Solar Panel Connection: Connect your solar panels to the PV input terminals. The PV input voltage range is 15V-60VDC, with a maximum PV input power of 500 watts.
- AC Input/Output: Connect the AC utility grid (if applicable) to the AC input. Connect your 230VAC loads to the AC output terminals. Note: This inverter is not compatible with 110V split-phase voltage. For 110V/120V US home appliances, a separate step-down transformer is required.
- Grounding: Connect the inverter to an earth ground using appropriate grounding wire.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
After all connections are secure, switch on the battery breaker, then the AC input breaker (if connected), and finally the inverter's power switch. To power off, reverse the sequence.
6.2 LCD Display and Settings
The integrated LCD display provides real-time operating status, input/output information, and allows you to configure various parameters such as battery charging current, output priority (Solar First, Solar and Utility, Only Solar), and more. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed navigation.
6.3 Remote Monitoring
The inverter includes a built-in WiFi/Bluetooth module for remote monitoring via a dedicated mobile application. Download the app (details provided in the separate WiFi module guide) and follow the instructions to connect your inverter for real-time data and control.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your inverter.
- Cleaning: Keep the inverter's ventilation openings clear of dust and debris. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior.
- Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections for tightness and corrosion.
- Battery Health: Monitor your battery bank's health and charge levels as recommended by the battery manufacturer.
- Environment: Ensure the installation environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, consult the LCD display for error codes and messages. Common issues and basic solutions are listed below:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power output | Battery low, overload, short circuit, inverter off | Check battery voltage, reduce load, check wiring, turn on inverter |
| Inverter beeping | Warning or error condition (e.g., overload, over-temperature) | Check LCD display for specific error code, address the cause (e.g., reduce load, improve ventilation) |
| No solar charging | PV input voltage too low/high, solar panels disconnected, MPPT fault | Check solar panel connections, ensure PV voltage is within 15-60VDC, check for shading |
| AC output unstable | Overload, poor AC input quality | Reduce load, check AC input source stability |
For persistent issues or complex problems, please contact SUMRY customer support.
