5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Site Selection

Choose a dry, cool, and well-ventilated location. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, and moisture. Ensure sufficient clearance around the inverter for proper airflow.

5.2 Wiring Connections

All wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.

  1. Battery Connection: Connect the 12V or 24V battery bank to the inverter's battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity. The inverter is compatible with AGM, Lithium, LiFePO4, and other battery types.
  2. Solar Panel Connection: Connect your solar panels to the PV input terminals. The PV input voltage range is 15V-60VDC, with a maximum PV input power of 500 watts.
  3. AC Input/Output: Connect the AC utility grid (if applicable) to the AC input. Connect your 230VAC loads to the AC output terminals. Note: This inverter is not compatible with 110V split-phase voltage. For 110V/120V US home appliances, a separate step-down transformer is required.
  4. Grounding: Connect the inverter to an earth ground using appropriate grounding wire.
