4. Setup

4.1 Initial Placement

  • Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around all sides for proper ventilation.
  • Avoid placing the unit near direct heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.2 Power Connection

The refrigerator can be powered by either AC (home outlet) or DC (car cigarette lighter) power.

AC Power (110-240V)

  1. Connect the AC power cable to the adapter.
  2. Plug the adapter into the AC power input port on the refrigerator.
  3. Insert the AC power plug into a standard wall outlet.

DC Power (12/24V)

  1. Connect the cigarette lighter cable to the DC power input port on the refrigerator.
  2. Insert the other end of the cigarette lighter cable into your vehicle's 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket.

Note:

  • Do not connect both AC and DC power simultaneously.
  • The refrigerator will automatically detect the input voltage (12V or 24V).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Functions

  • Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON/OFF.
  • SET Button: Press to cycle through settings (e.g., temperature units, battery protection mode). Long press to enter temperature setting mode for each zone.
  • +/- Buttons: Adjust temperature settings, navigate menu options.
  • MAX/ECO Button: Toggle between Max (fast cooling) and ECO (energy-saving) modes.

5.2 Temperature Adjustment

  1. Turn on the refrigerator.
  2. Long press the SET button until the temperature display for a zone starts flashing.
  3. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired temperature for that zone.
  4. Press SET again to switch to the other zone and repeat the process, or wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved automatically.

5.3 Dual-Zone Configuration

The EA45-D features two compartments. Each can function as a refrigerator or freezer independently. The temperature range for both zones is -20°C to 20°C (-4°F to 68°F).

5.4 Cooling Modes

  • MAX Mode: Provides maximum cooling power for rapid temperature reduction. Ideal for quickly chilling items.
  • ECO Mode: Operates with reduced power consumption, suitable for maintaining temperature over longer periods and saving battery life.

5.5 Battery Protection

The refrigerator includes a 3-level battery protection system to prevent your vehicle's battery from draining completely.

  • H (High): Highest protection, cuts off power at a higher voltage. Recommended for vehicle batteries.
  • M (Medium): Medium protection.
  • L (Low): Lowest protection, allows the battery to discharge more. Recommended for external power banks or deep cycle batteries.

To adjust the battery protection level, long press the SET button until the battery icon flashes, then use the +/- buttons to select H, M, or L.

5.6 App Control

Download the VEVOR refrigerator app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your refrigerator via Bluetooth. The app allows you to:

  • Turn the unit ON/OFF.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
