2. Setup & Connection

2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

The YUYIU Wireless Controller connects via a 2.4GHz wireless adapter, not Bluetooth. It is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S Consoles, and Steam PC Windows 10 and above. Note: Not compatible with TV and Phone.

1. Plug the 2.4GHz wireless adapter into an available USB port on your Xbox console or PC. The receiver's indicator light will blink slowly.
2. Press the HOME button on the controller to power it on. The controller's indicator light will blink rapidly.
3. Hold the button on the 2.4GHz receiver until its indicator light flashes rapidly.
4. Simultaneously, hold the wireless connect button on the top of the controller (next to the USB-C port) until the controller's indicator light also flashes rapidly.
5. Wait for a few seconds. Once connected, both the controller and receiver indicator lights will remain solidly lit, and the controller will vibrate once.

2.2. Charging the Controller

The controller features a built-in 1000mAh lithium battery and charges via a Type-C port.

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the controller's Type-C port and the other end to a USB port on your computer or host device.
2. The controller's indicator light will flash slowly during charging.
3. Once fully charged, the indicator light will remain on.

A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours and provides 10-14 hours of gameplay.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

• To power on: Press the HOME button.
• To power off: Press and hold the HOME button for 5 seconds.

3.2. RGB Lighting Modes

The controller features 7 colors RGB lighting with multiple modes for the joysticks.

1. Monochrome Light Constant On Mode: Press the Light Setting Key (located on the back, near the programmable keys) + A key. Each press of the Light Setting Key will cycle through the 7 colors (Blue, Ice Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Red, Pink).
2. Breathing Mode: Press the Light Setting Key + B key. The lights will breathe and change colors sequentially. Each press of the Light Setting Key will cycle through the breathing colors.
3. Circle Running Marquee Changing Mode: Press the Light Setting Key + Y key. The lights will rotate and change colors in turn.
4. RGB LED Off Mode: To turn off the RGB lights, press the Light Setting Key + X key.

3.3. Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated button presses, giving you an advantage in fast-paced games.

1. Set Turbo Function: In any mode, press the desired action key (A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/R1/R2) and then the Turbo key (located at the bottom center of the controller). The Turbo light will flash.
2. Set Auto Turbo Function: Press the action key and Turbo key again (second press). The Turbo light will flash, indicating Auto Turbo is active. In Auto Turbo mode, pressing and holding the button stops rapid shots; letting go kicks it back into action.
3. Clear Turbo Function: Press the action key and Turbo key a third time to clear the Turbo function for that specific button.
4. Adjust Turbo Speed: Hold the Turbo key and press the D-pad Up/Down to adjust the speed (2 preset rates).

3.4. Programmable Keys (Back Buttons)

The controller features two programmable back buttons, 'ML' and 'MR', allowing you to map basic function keys for optimized gameplay.

1. Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the Programming Key (the 'M' button on the back, between ML and MR) for 3 seconds. The controller will vibrate once.
2. Record Button Sequence: Press the sequence of basic function keys (A/B/X/Y/LB/RB/L3/R3/D-PAD) you wish to record.
3. Assign to Back Button: Press either the ML or MR button to assign the recorded sequence. The controller will vibrate once to confirm.
4. Execute Combo: Press the assigned ML or MR button once to execute your recorded combo.
5. Clear Programming: To clear a programmed button, enter programming mode, then press the ML or MR button you wish to clear twice.

3.5. 3.5mm Stereo Audio Jack

The controller includes a 3.5mm stereo audio jack, allowing you to connect headphones and microphones for simultaneous audio reception and transmission.

3.6. Dual Vibration Motors

Experience immersive gameplay with dual vibration motors that provide precise feedback for in-game actions like weapons, impacts, and environmental effects.

3.7. 360° Joysticks and Quick Trigger Switches

The controller features 360° omnidirectional joysticks with rapid rebound and high accuracy. Additionally, quick trigger switches on the back allow you to shorten the trigger press distance for faster response times.

4. Maintenance

• Clean the controller regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Avoid dropping the controller or subjecting it to strong impacts.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Connection Issues

• Controller not connecting: Ensure the 2.4GHz wireless adapter is securely plugged into a USB port. Verify that both the adapter and controller indicator lights are flashing rapidly during pairing, then become solid. Try re-pairing the controller by following the steps in Section 2.1.
• Intermittent connection: Ensure there are no obstructions between the controller and the 2.4GHz adapter. Keep within the 33-foot operating range.

5.2. Charging Issues

• Controller not charging: Check that the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the controller and the power source. Try using a different USB-C cable or USB port.
• Battery life is short: Ensure the controller is fully charged before use. Battery performance may vary based on usage and age.

5.3. Audio Jack Issues

• No audio or poor audio quality: Ensure your headset is fully plugged into the 3.5mm stereo jack. Try using a different headset to rule out a headset-specific issue. Check audio settings on your console or PC.

5.4. Button/Joystick Malfunction

• Buttons unresponsive: Try resetting the controller (a small reset button may be present, refer to the detailed diagram in Section 3.7). Ensure the controller is fully charged.
• Joysticks drifting: If joysticks exhibit unintended movement, ensure the controller's firmware is up to date (if applicable, check the manufacturer's website).
