2. Safety Instructions

4.1 Top Panel Components

  • Dust Cover: Protects the platter and tonearm from dust.

4.2 Front Panel Controls

5. Setup

  1. Placement: Place the turntable on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibrations.
  2. Dust Cover: Carefully attach the dust cover to the hinges on the back of the unit.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the turntable, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. Initial Power On: Turn the POWER ON/OFF & VOLUME knob clockwise to turn on the unit. The power indicator light will illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Open Dust Cover: Lift the dust cover.
  2. Place Record: Carefully place a vinyl record on the platter.
  3. Select Speed: Set the speed selector switch to the appropriate speed for your record (33, 45, or 78 RPM). For 45 RPM records, use the included 45 RPM adapter if necessary (not explicitly mentioned as included, but standard for 45s).
  4. Remove Stylus Protector: Gently remove the stylus protector from the tonearm.
  5. Position Tonearm: Carefully lift the tonearm and move it over the desired track on the record. Lower the tonearm gently onto the record. The platter will start spinning automatically.
  6. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the POWER ON/OFF & VOLUME knob.
  7. Automatic Return: At the end of the record, the tonearm will automatically return to its rest position.

6.2 Bluetooth Playback

The AIWA LPS-25WD can receive audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).

  1. Power On: Turn on the turntable.
  2. Select Bluetooth Mode: Press the MODE/REC button repeatedly until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display (if available, otherwise listen for an audio prompt). The unit will enter pairing mode.
  3. Pair Device: On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "AIWA LPS-25WD" from the list.
  4. Playback: Once paired, you can play audio from your device, and it will be output through the turntable's integrated speakers. Adjust volume using the turntable's volume knob or your connected device.

6.3 USB/SD Card Playback

Play MP3/WMA files directly from a USB flash drive or SD/MMC card.

  1. Insert Media: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC card slot on the rear panel.
  2. Select USB/SD Mode: Press the MODE/REC button repeatedly until "USB" or "SD" appears on the display (if available). Playback should begin automatically.
  3. Control Playback: Use the K< (previous track), >I/DEL (play/pause/delete), and >>I (next track) buttons to control playback.
  4. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the POWER ON/OFF & VOLUME knob.

6.4 Recording Vinyl to USB/SD Card

You can record your vinyl records directly to a USB flash drive or SD/MMC card in MP3 format.

  1. Insert Media: Ensure a USB flash drive or SD/MMC card is inserted.
  2. Prepare Vinyl: Place the vinyl record on the platter and set the correct speed.
  3. Start Recording: Press and hold the MODE/REC button until the recording indicator (if available) lights up or an audio prompt confirms recording has started.
  4. Start Playback: Lower the tonearm onto the record to begin playing the vinyl. The audio will be recorded to the inserted media.
  5. Stop Recording: Press the MODE/REC button again to stop recording. The recorded file will be saved.

6.5 FM Radio Operation

  1. Select FM Mode: Press the MODE/REC button repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display (if available).
  2. Auto Scan: Press the SCAN button to automatically scan and save available FM radio stations.
  3. Manual Tuning/Station Selection: Use the K< and >>I buttons to manually tune or select saved stations.
  4. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the POWER ON/OFF & VOLUME knob.

6.6 RCA Audio Output

Connect the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers using RCA cables (not included) for enhanced audio output.

  1. Connect Cables: Connect one end of the RCA cables to the RCA Audio Output (L/R) ports on the rear of the turntable.
  2. Connect to External System: Connect the other end of the RCA cables to the corresponding audio input ports on your amplifier or powered speakers.
  3. Select Input: Select the correct input on your external audio system.
  4. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume primarily through your external audio system. The turntable's volume knob will still affect the integrated speakers, but not the RCA output directly.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Stylus

  • Use a soft brush (not included) to gently clean the stylus. Brush from the back to the front of the stylus.
  • Do not use excessive force or harsh cleaning solutions, as this can damage the stylus.

7.2 Cleaning the Unit
