Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
- A full charge provides up to 28 hours of playtime.
2. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns on.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.
Operating Instructions
1. Bluetooth Pairing

- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (the indicator light will flash). If not, press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Monster S180" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the speaker will indicate a successful pairing, and the indicator light will stop flashing.
- The speaker features Bluetooth 6.0 for stable connections up to 20 meters and remembers previously paired devices for quick reconnection.
2. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To achieve a wider stereo soundstage, you can pair two Monster S180 speakers together.

- Ensure both S180 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Double-click the Play/Pause button on one of the speakers. This speaker will become the primary unit.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
- Once TWS paired, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.
- To exit TWS mode, double-click the Play/Pause button on either speaker.
3. AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack of your device.
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, or you can manually select it using the Mode button.
4. TF Card Playback
- Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot on the speaker.
- The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playing music, or you can manually select it using the Mode button.
5. Hands-Free Calling
When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calling.
- Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
Storage
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
