Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keys and surface.
  • For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
  • If necessary, keycaps can be carefully removed for deeper cleaning using a keycap puller (if included or purchased separately). Ensure to reattach them correctly.

Keyboard Not Responding

  • Check USB Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the keyboard and the computer's USB port. Try a different USB port.
  • Restart Computer: A system restart can often resolve connectivity issues.
  • Test on Another Device: If possible, connect the keyboard to another computer to determine if the issue is with the keyboard or the original system.

RGB Lighting Not Working or Incorrect

  • Check Brightness Settings: Use the dedicated brightness control button on the keyboard to ensure lighting is not turned off or set to minimum brightness.
  • Software Conflict: If using HyperX NGENUITY software, ensure it is up-to-date and not conflicting with other lighting software. Try restarting the software or reinstalling it.
