Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Wantek TV-96 headphones, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

No Sound from Headphones

  • Check Power: Ensure both the headphones and the transmitter charging base are powered on.
  • Check Connections: Verify that all audio cables (Optical, RCA, or 3.5mm AUX) are securely connected between your TV and the charging base.
  • TV Audio Output: Confirm your TV's audio output settings are correctly configured for the chosen connection type (e.g., PCM for Optical).
  • Volume Level: Increase the volume on both the headphones and your TV.
  • Source Selection: Ensure the correct audio input source is selected on the transmitter base (if applicable, though this model is plug-and-play for wired connections).

Headphones Not Charging

  • Power Connection: Ensure the 5V DC Adapter and USB-A to Type-C Power Cable are securely connected to the charging base and a working power outlet.
  • Headphone Placement: Make sure the headphones are correctly seated on the charging base, and the charging contacts are aligned.
  • LED Indicator: The LED should glow red when charging. If it doesn't, check power connections.

Bluetooth Pairing Issues

  • Transmitter Power: For Bluetooth pairing with mobile devices, ensure the power switch on the charging base is in the "OFF" position.
  • Device Bluetooth: Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and it's in pairing mode.
  • Distance: Ensure the headphones are within the Bluetooth range (up to 30 meters) of your device.

Audio/Video Synchronization Issues (Lip-Sync Delay)

The Wantek TV-96 headphones are designed with ultra-low latency (less than 40ms) to minimize lip-sync delay. If you experience issues:

  • Check Connection Type: Wired connections (Optical, RCA, 3.5mm AUX) generally offer the lowest latency.
