  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in 'What's in the Box' are present and undamaged.
  2. Initial Charge: Before first use, place the solar light in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours to allow the internal battery to fully charge. Ensure the 'ON/OFF' switch is in the 'ON' position during charging.
  3. Choose Installation Location: Select a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day. Avoid areas near other strong light sources (e.g., porch lights, street lamps) as these may interfere with the light sensor and prevent automatic activation. Ideal mounting height is between 5 and 9 feet.

Operating Instructions

Your ropelux solar lights feature a smart light sensor for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and a motion sensor with three distinct lighting modes. Use the 'MODE' button to cycle through the settings.

Automatic On/Off Function

The built-in light sensor automatically detects ambient brightness:

  • Auto Off in Daylight: The light will turn off when ambient brightness exceeds 50 Lux.
  • Auto On in Night: The light will turn on when ambient brightness falls below 50 Lux.

Lighting Modes

Press the 'MODE' button on the top of the light to switch between the three available modes:

  1. Mode 1: Dim-to-Bright Induction Mode
    The light stays on at a dim brightness (approximately 40%). When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% for 15 seconds, then returns to dim.
  2. Mode 2: Off-to-Bright Induction Mode

  3. Mode 3: Constant On Mode
