3. Setup Instructions

3.1. Mobile/Tablet Setup (Bluetooth)

1. Download the App: Download the "Labelnize" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Power On and Enable Bluetooth: Turn on your D90E printer and enable Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
3. Pair Device: Open the Labelnize app, tap the "Connect" icon, and select your D90E printer to pair via Bluetooth.
4. Select Paper and File Type: Within the app, select the appropriate paper size and file type for your print job.
5. Print: Initiate printing from the app.

3.2. Laptop/Computer Setup (USB)

1. Connect Printer: Turn on the D90E printer and connect it to your laptop or computer using the provided USB cable.

Note: The D90E printer is not compatible with Chromebooks. For laptop and computer use, connect via USB after downloading the driver from Labelnize.com. Bluetooth is not supported for computer connections.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Loading Thermal Paper

The ETIKEZ D90E printer is designed exclusively for 8.5" x 11" US Letter thermal paper. Do not use ordinary copy paper, as it will not print and may cause issues.

1. Power On: Ensure the printer is powered on.
2. Orient Paper: Hold the thermal paper with the "Load paper here" label facing upwards.
3. Insert Paper: With both hands, carefully insert the paper vertically into the printer's paper feed slot, ensuring the two ends of the paper are aligned to prevent offset printing.
4. Confirmation: The printer will automatically feed the paper, and the indicator light will turn green when it is ready for printing.

4.2. Printing Various File Types

The Labelnize app supports printing various file types, including Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, WebPages, TXT files, and images. Ensure your document is prepared and selected within the app before printing.

5. Maintenance

5.1. General Care

• Keep the printer clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for exterior cleaning.
• Avoid exposing the printer to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Store the printer in its portable carry case when not in use to protect it from damage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Paper Jams

If the printer experiences a paper jam:

1. Eject Paper: Simply press the power button once. The machine is designed to automatically eject the jammed paper.
2. Avoid Force: Do not forcefully open the machine cover, as this may cause injury or damage to the printer.
3. Use Flat Thermal Paper: To prevent future paper jams and curling, ensure you are using flat thermal paper.

Important: Only use thermal paper for printing. Regular paper is not compatible and will not produce an image.

• Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the printer, and that the printer is selected within the Labelnize app.
