3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape.
- Inspect the freezer for any damage during transit. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
- Remove any internal packing materials, such as shelf protectors or tape.
3.2 Placement
- Choose a location with a strong, level floor that can support the freezer when fully loaded.
- Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the back and sides of the freezer for adequate air circulation.
- Avoid placing the freezer near heat sources (e.g., oven, radiator, direct sunlight) or in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations.

3.3 Leveling the Freezer
The freezer has adjustable leveling legs. To level the appliance:
- Turn the leveling leg clockwise to raise the freezer.
- Turn the leveling leg counter-clockwise to lower the freezer.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Defrosting
This freezer requires manual defrosting. Frost buildup can reduce cooling efficiency and storage capacity. Defrost the freezer when frost accumulation reaches approximately 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick.
- Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
- Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
- Open the freezer door and allow the frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the freezer.
- Once all frost has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
- Plug the freezer back in and allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food items.
5.2 Cleaning the Interior
Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and efficiency.
