5. Setup

5.1 Front Camera Installation

1. Clean the windshield area where the dashcam will be mounted.
2. Attach the mounting bracket to the front dashcam.
3. Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad on the bracket and firmly press it onto the windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
4. Adjust the camera angle to capture the road ahead.

5.2 Rear Camera Installation

1. Identify a suitable location on your rear windshield for the rear camera, ensuring a clear view.
2. Clean the installation area.
3. Attach the rear camera using its adhesive pad.
4. Connect the rear camera to the front dashcam using the provided rear camera connection cable. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior trim.

5.3 Power Connection

1. Connect the car charger to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
2. Connect the power cable from the car charger to the front dashcam's power input port.
3. Route the power cable neatly to avoid interference with driving.
4. The dashcam will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

5.4 CPL Filter Attachment

1. Gently attach the CPL filter to the front lens of the dashcam.
2. Rotate the filter to minimize reflections and glare from the dashboard and windshield.

5.5 App Connection

1. Download the DDPAI app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone.
3. Open the DDPAI app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Z90 Master dashcam via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Recording

Once powered on, the dashcam will automatically begin loop recording. Older files will be overwritten by new recordings when the storage is full, except for locked emergency videos.

6.2 G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. In such events, the current video segment will be automatically locked and saved to a separate folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.

6.3 High-Speed Mode (3K/60FPS)

To activate the 3K/60FPS high-speed recording mode, access the settings via the DDPAI app. This mode provides smoother video capture for high-speed driving scenarios. Note that HDR is not supported in this mode.

6.4 Parking Monitoring (Optional)

For 24-hour parking monitoring, a dedicated hardwire kit (ASIN: B0DP639X2D, B0DP6464P3) is required and sold separately. Once installed, the dashcam can monitor your vehicle for impacts or motion even when parked, saving footage to protect your car.

6.5 GPS and ADAS Functions

The integrated GPS module records your vehicle's location, speed, and driving trajectory. The ADAS system provides proactive warnings for driver fatigue and sudden braking, enhancing road safety. These features can be configured and monitored via the DDPAI app.

• Dashcam not powering on: Check the power cable connection and ensure the car charger is properly inserted into the cigarette lighter socket. Verify the vehicle's ignition is on.
• Recording issues: Ensure there is sufficient storage space. If using a MicroSD card, ensure it is properly inserted and formatted. Check for any error messages on the screen or in the app.
• Poor video quality: Clean the camera lenses. Ensure the CPL filter is correctly adjusted. Check settings in the app to confirm desired resolution.
• App connection problems: Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your smartphone. Restart both the dashcam and your phone. Try reconnecting through the DDPAI app.
• GPS not working: Ensure the dashcam has a clear view of the sky. GPS signal acquisition may take a few minutes, especially after initial setup or if the vehicle has been parked for a long time.
