1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the OSTBA Bottom Loading Water Cooler Dispenser. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new appliance. This dispenser offers hot, cold, and room temperature water on demand, featuring a convenient bottom-loading design, LED display, child safety lock, and a durable stainless steel tank.
2. Safety Information
- Placement: Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Power: Do not plug in the power cord before you have completed the initial setup steps.
- Initial Use Warning: DO NOT turn on heating or cooling until both the hot and cold tanks are full and water can flow freely from the dispenser. This typically requires the unit to stand upright for 24 hours after unboxing before first use to allow the compressor fluid to settle.

- Water Quality: Use only potable water from standard 3 or 5-gallon bottles.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the drip tray and water contact surfaces to maintain hygiene.

4. Setup
4.1 Unboxing and Placement
Carefully remove the water dispenser from its packaging. Place the unit upright in its desired location. It is crucial to let the unit stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in or turning on the heating/cooling functions. This allows the compressor fluids to settle, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
4.2 Installing the Water Bottle
- Open the lower cabinet door of the dispenser.
- Remove the plastic wrapping and cap from your 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
- Insert the bottle adapter tube into the water bottle. Ensure the tube reaches the bottom of the bottle.
- Slide the water bottle into the dispenser cabinet and close the door.

4.3 Initial Power-Up
After the 24-hour waiting period and water bottle installation, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The water tanks will begin filling. Once the tanks are full, dispense one cup of water from each tap (hot, cold, room) to ensure proper water flow. Then, turn on the hot and cold switches located on the back of the unit to activate heating and cooling functions.

6.1 Cleaning the Dispenser
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining hygiene and optimal performance. Unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. The drip tray can be removed and washed with mild soap and water. For internal cleaning, follow the instructions in the full user manual to flush the water tanks.
