General Safety Instructions

WARNING: Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

Work Area Safety

  • Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
  • Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
  • Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Electrical Safety

  • Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
  • Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
  • Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

Personal Safety

  • Always wear eye protection. Use appropriate safety equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection when necessary.
  • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts.
  • Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.

Power Tool Use and Care

  • Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.
  • Disconnect the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
  • Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
  • Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use.

Battery Tool Use and Care

  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
  • When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Ensure the correct attachment is securely installed and the battery is fully charged and inserted.
  2. Select the desired direction of rotation using the direction switch (forward/reverse).
  3. Press the trigger to start the tool. The speed is typically variable based on trigger pressure.
  4. Release the trigger to stop the tool.

Specific Attachment Operations

1. Drill Attachment

The drill attachment is used for drilling holes and driving screws. It has a maximum speed of 1300 RPM.

  • Changing Drill Bits: Loosen the chuck by hand, insert the drill bit, and tighten the chuck firmly.
  • Drilling: Apply steady, even pressure. For harder materials, use a slower speed.
  • Driving Screws: Use appropriate screwdriver bits. Adjust clutch settings (if available on the drill head) to prevent over-driving screws.

2. Impact Driver Attachment

The impact driver is designed for driving screws and fasteners with high torque, up to 150 N·m, and a maximum speed of 2700 RPM.

  • Changing Bits: Pull the collar forward, insert the hex shank bit, and release the collar to lock the bit in place.
  • Operation: The impact mechanism engages when resistance is met, providing powerful rotational force.

3. Circular Saw Attachment

The circular saw attachment is for cutting wood and other materials. It has a no-load speed of 4500 RPM, a blade diameter of 85mm (3-3/8 inch), and a max cutting depth of 21mm (90°) or 14.8mm (45°).

  • Blade Installation: Refer to the attachment's specific instructions for safe blade changes. Always ensure the blade is installed correctly and securely.
  • Cutting: Set the desired cutting depth and angle. Ensure the workpiece is clamped securely. Guide the saw smoothly through the material, allowing the blade to do the work.
  • Safety: Always wear appropriate eye protection and ensure guards are in place.

4. Palm Sander Attachment

The palm sander attachment is used for smoothing surfaces with a no-load speed of 10000 RPM.

  • Attaching Sandpaper: Ensure the sander pad is clean. Align the sandpaper with the pad and press firmly to secure it (hook-and-loop system).
  • Sanding: Move the sander in overlapping passes over the surface. Do not apply excessive pressure; let the sander do the work.

5. Work Light Attachment

The work light provides 300 lumens of illumination for dark work areas.

  • Operation: Simply attach to the main unit and press the trigger to activate the light. It can be used independently of other tool functions.
