4. Troubleshooting

4.1 NVR Compatibility Issues

If you are experiencing issues with dual-lens or PTZ camera views on your NVR, ensure your Reolink NVR firmware is updated to version 3.6.4 or later. Earlier versions may only display dual-lens footage without the PTZ view.

4.2 Reolink Client Display Issues

For proper dual-screen display when connected to a Reolink NVR/Home Hub/Home Hub Pro, ensure your Reolink client software (Windows: v8.21 or later, Mac: v8.21 or later) is up to date.

4.3 Connectivity and Lag

If the camera experiences lag or connectivity issues:

  • Verify the Ethernet cable connection. Ensure it is a CAT5+ cable and properly seated.
  • Confirm your PoE switch or injector provides sufficient power (802.3at PoE+, ≥30W/port).
  • Check your network settings in the Reolink app/client. Ensure RTSP and ONVIF are enabled if using third-party software.
  • If using with Blue Iris or similar software, review the camera's video settings, particularly the receive buffer size, as incorrect settings can cause lag.

4.4 General Tips

  • Restart the camera and any connected network devices (router, NVR).
  • Ensure the camera's lens is clean and free from obstructions.
  • Check the power source to ensure stable power delivery.
