1. Introduction

The Akai Professional MPC XL is a standalone music production center designed for fast, uninterrupted, computer-free workflows. 2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully unpack your MPC XL and ensure all components listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present and undamaged. Report any discrepancies or damage to your retailer immediately.

3.2 MPCe Expressive Pads

The 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive MPCe pads utilize revolutionary 3D-sensing technology with four quadrants per pad. This allows for morphing, looping, layering, and controlling sounds and effects with enhanced expression. These pads are ideal for dynamic beatmaking and production.

3.3 Step Sequencer
