4. Setup
4.1 Assembly

4.2 Battery Charging
- Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the provided charger.
- Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
- Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.
4.3 Oiling the Chain
The chainsaw features a 150ml automatic oiling system. Fill the oil reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant before each use.
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw.
- Unscrew the cap and carefully pour chain oil into the reservoir using the provided bottle.
- Do not overfill. Securely replace the cap.

4.4 Chain Tensioning
Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. Adjust the chain tension with the included screwdriver.
- Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Loosen the side cover nuts slightly.
- Use the screwdriver to turn the tensioning screw until the chain is snug against the guide bar, but can still be pulled freely by hand.
- Retighten the side cover nuts.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Press the safety lock button (usually located on the handle).
- While holding the safety lock, squeeze the trigger to start the chainsaw. Release the safety lock once the chain begins to move.

- Always maintain a stable stance and balance.
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before engaging the wood.
- Apply light, consistent pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the wood.
- Be aware of the wood's tension and potential for pinching the guide bar.
- For larger branches or logs, make relief cuts to prevent binding.

- Chain Brake: In the event of kickback or loss of control, the chain brake can be activated manually by pushing the front hand guard forward, or it may activate automatically.
