4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

4.2 Battery Charging

1. Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the provided charger.
2. Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.

4.3 Oiling the Chain

The chainsaw features a 150ml automatic oiling system. Fill the oil reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant before each use.

1. Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw.
2. Unscrew the cap and carefully pour chain oil into the reservoir using the provided bottle.
3. Do not overfill. Securely replace the cap.

4.4 Chain Tensioning

Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. Adjust the chain tension with the included screwdriver.

1. Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the battery is removed.
2. Loosen the side cover nuts slightly.
3. Use the screwdriver to turn the tensioning screw until the chain is snug against the guide bar, but can still be pulled freely by hand.
4. Retighten the side cover nuts.

5.1 Starting the Chainsaw

• Allow the chain to reach full speed before engaging the wood.
• Apply light, consistent pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the wood.
