3. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the PURPLE LEAF Hardtop Gazebo requires careful attention to detail. While instructions are provided, detailed images are crucial for correct assembly. It is highly recommended to have at least two people for assembly, especially for lifting and securing roof sections and posts.
Preparation:
- Choose a level and stable location for your gazebo.
- Unpack all boxes and inspect components for damage. Keep parts organized by their labels.
- Gather necessary tools (e.g., wrench, screwdriver, ladder).
Assembly Steps:
- Assemble the Base Frame: Connect the horizontal beams to the thickened posts. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Roof Support Beams: Attach the reinforced structural beams that support the roof panels. These beams are designed for strength against wind and snow loads.
- Attach Roof Panels: Carefully place and secure the galvanized steel roof panels. The double-top vented design promotes airflow.
- Install Netting and Curtains: Hang the 110 GSM Textilene netting and 160 GSM yarn-dyed polyester curtains onto the double tracks.
- Mount String Lights: Install the 24 clear string lights. If clips are not provided, suitable outdoor clips may be required to secure them without damaging the roof.
- Anchor the Gazebo: Securely anchor the gazebo posts to your patio or ground using appropriate anchoring hardware.

4. Operating Instructions
Netting and Curtains:
The gazebo includes both 110 GSM Textilene netting and 160 GSM yarn-dyed polyester curtains. These can be operated independently on double tracks.
- Textilene Netting: Pull the netting closed to provide insect protection while allowing light and airflow.
- Polyester Curtains: Pull the curtains closed for enhanced privacy and to block sunlight. The fabric is fade-resistant and offers good light blockage.

Lighting System:
The gazebo is equipped with 24 clear string lights. These lights feature PET housing for durability, pressure and drop resistance, even light transmission, and fast heat dissipation, providing a stable lighting experience.
- Connect the string lights to a suitable outdoor power source.
- Ensure all connections are waterproof and secure.

Air Circulation:
The galvanized steel double roof is designed with a vented top to promote optimum airflow and comfort within the gazebo.
5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan and appearance of your gazebo.
- Frame: The powder-coated aluminum frame is highly resistant to rust and corrosion. Clean with a mild soap and water solution and rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Roof: The galvanized steel roof is UV resistant. Periodically clear any debris (leaves, snow) from the roof to prevent excessive load. Clean with water and a soft brush if necessary.
- Netting and Curtains: The Textilene netting and polyester curtains are durable and easy to clean. They can be hand washed with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before storing or closing for extended periods to prevent mildew.
- Hardware: All screws are made of stainless steel for long-lasting durability and rust resistance. Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight.
