This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your GravaStar Mercury K1 75% Wireless Gaming Keyboard. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

- 1 x GravaStar Mercury K1 75% Wireless Gaming Keyboard
- 1 x Type-A 2.4GHz Receiver
- 1 x USB Cable (Type-C to Type-A)
- 1 x Keycap Puller

Setup
1. Charging the Keyboard
Before initial use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
The keyboard features an 8000mAh battery, providing approximately 470 hours of use with lights off and 40 hours with lights on.

2. Connecting the Keyboard
The GravaStar Mercury K1 supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and wired USB-C.

2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver in the keyboard packaging.
- Plug the receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
- On the keyboard, slide the mode switch to the "2.4G" position.
- The keyboard will automatically connect to the receiver.
2.2. Bluetooth Connection
- On the keyboard, slide the mode switch to the "BT" position.
- The keyboard will enter pairing mode (indicator light may flash).
- On your device (PC, Mac, Tablet, iOS), go to Bluetooth settings and search for "GravaStar Mercury K1".
- Select the keyboard to pair.
- If prompted, enter the pairing code displayed on your screen.
2.3. Wired USB-C Connection
- Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
- Connect the USB-A end to an available USB-A port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
3. Operating System Mode Switch
The keyboard has a switch to toggle between Windows (Win) and Mac operating system modes. Ensure this switch is set correctly for your operating system to ensure proper key functionality.
Operating Instructions
1. Multifunction Knob
The integrated knob allows for quick volume adjustments. Rotate clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease volume. Press the knob to mute/unmute audio.
2. RGB Lighting Control
The GravaStar Mercury K1 features customizable RGB backlighting with 16.8 million colors, 11 dynamic effects, 10 sound-responsive modes, and 13 customizable presets.
Use the dedicated function keys (often combined with the 'Fn' key) to cycle through lighting effects, adjust brightness, and change colors. Refer to the keycap legends for specific combinations.

3. Hot-Swappable Switches
The keyboard supports hot-swappable 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing for easy customization without soldering.

To replace a switch:
- Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove the keycap.
- Use the switch puller (often integrated with the keycap puller) to gently pull the switch upwards until it detaches from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks.
- Reattach the keycap.
4. Software Customization
For advanced customization of key assignments, macros, and lighting effects, download the official GravaStar software. The software allows for comprehensive control over your keyboard's functions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your keyboard to prevent dust and debris buildup. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove particles between keycaps. For deeper cleaning, carefully remove keycaps using the keycap puller and clean the switches and plate with compressed air or a soft cloth.
Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the keycaps or keyboard finish.
2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
