The EDISHINE outdoor wall light features a motion sensor, transparent glass design, and a durable aluminum housing. It is IP44 waterproof, making it suitable for various outdoor environments. It uses a standard E27 bulb (not included).

5. Installation

Follow these steps for safe and proper installation:

1. Prepare the Installation Area:

   Turn off the power at the main circuit breaker. Choose a suitable location on an exterior wall, ideally between 1.5 to 2 meters (5 to 6.5 feet) from the ground for optimal motion detection.

2. Mount the Fixture:

   Use the provided mounting hardware (screws and wall plugs) to securely attach the light fixture to the wall. Ensure the fixture is level.

3. Wire the Light:

   Connect the household electrical wires to the fixture's wires according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting live (L), neutral (N), and ground (GND) wires. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

4. Install the Bulb:

   Screw an E27 bulb (LED max 15W or Incandescent max 40W) into the socket. Do not overtighten.

5. Secure the Glass Shade:

   Carefully attach the transparent glass shade to the fixture, ensuring it is properly sealed to maintain the IP44 rating.

6. Restore Power:

   Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The EDISHINE wall light features an integrated PIR motion sensor and a photocell sensor for automatic operation.

Motion Sensor Functionality:

• The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within its range and the ambient light level is below the set threshold.
• It will turn off automatically after a set duration once no motion is detected.

Adjusting Sensor Settings:

The motion sensor has adjustable settings for detection range, light duration, and light sensitivity. These controls are typically located on the sensor unit itself, often requiring a small screwdriver for adjustment.

• Light Duration (TIME): Adjusts how long the light stays on after motion is detected. Typically ranges from 20 to 300 seconds (approx. 10 seconds to 5 minutes). Turning the dial clockwise increases the duration.
• Detection Range (SENS): Adjusts the distance at which motion can be detected. Typically up to 10±2 meters. Turning the dial clockwise increases the detection range.
• Light Sensitivity (LUX): Adjusts the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active.
  • Turn towards the "sun" icon (2000 LUX) for the light to activate even during daylight hours (for testing purposes).
  • Turn towards the "moon" icon (10 LUX) for the light to activate only in low light conditions (dusk/night).
