This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Important Compatibility Note: This device is not compatible with Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or Windows operating systems older than Windows 9. Please retain this manual for future reference and troubleshooting.

3. Product Layout

4. Charging Instructions

The gamepad is equipped with a 1000mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 20 hours of gameplay on a single charge.

1. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the gamepad's Type-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter).
3. The RGB lighting will indicate charging status. Once fully charged, the lights will change or turn off depending on the current mode.

The gamepad can be used while charging in wired mode.

5. Connectivity Modes

The SUPERNOVA gamepad supports three connectivity modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired.

5.1. 2.4G Wireless Mode (PC, PS4)

This mode uses the included 2.4G USB dongle for a stable, low-latency connection.

1. Insert the 2.4G USB dongle into an available USB port on your PC or PS4.
2. Press and hold the Home button on the gamepad for 3 seconds. The gamepad will automatically connect to the dongle.
3. The indicator light on the gamepad will turn solid, indicating a successful connection.

5.2. Bluetooth Mode (PC, Android, iOS, Mac, PS4)

This mode allows wireless connection to Bluetooth-enabled devices.

1. For PC (Windows 10+), Android, iOS (iOS 13+), Mac:
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
   • Press and hold the Home button and Share button simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
   • On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "SUPERNOVA Gamepad" to pair.
   • The indicator light will turn solid upon successful connection.
2. For PS4:
   • Navigate to PS4 Settings > Devices > Bluetooth Devices.
   • Press and hold the Home button and Share button simultaneously on the gamepad for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
   • Select "SUPERNOVA Gamepad" from the list of available devices on your PS4.
   • The indicator light will turn solid upon successful connection.

5.3. Wired Mode (PC, PS4, Steam Deck)

Connect the gamepad directly to your device using the USB Type-C cable.

1. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the gamepad and your PC, PS4, or Steam Deck.
2. The gamepad will be automatically recognized as a wired controller.
3. The indicator light will turn solid, confirming the wired connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Hall Effect Joysticks & Triggers

The gamepad features Hall Effect 3D joysticks and triggers, which use magnetic sensors for input. This technology eliminates stick drift and provides enhanced precision and durability compared to traditional potentiometers.

6.2. Programmable Back Buttons (M1/M2) & Macro Support

The two rear buttons (M1 and M2) can be programmed with single button remaps or complex macros of up to 16 inputs.

1. To Program a Macro:
   • Press and hold the M1/M2 button you wish to program, then press the Share button. The indicator light will flash slowly.
   • Input the desired sequence of up to 16 button presses.
   • Press the M1/M2 button again to save the macro. The indicator light will stop flashing.
2. To Clear a Macro:
   • Press and hold the M1/M2 button you wish to clear, then press the Options button. The indicator light will flash rapidly and then turn off, indicating the macro is cleared.

6.3. Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows a button to be pressed repeatedly as long as it is held down. Supported buttons include X, O, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2.

1. To Activate Turbo: Press and hold the Turbo button, then press the desired action button (e.g., X). The button will now activate Turbo mode.
2. To Adjust Turbo Speed: While in Turbo mode, press and hold the Turbo button and move the right joystick up/down to cycle through three speeds: 5Hz (slow), 10Hz (medium), 15Hz (fast).
3. To Deactivate Turbo: Press and hold the Turbo button, then press the action button again.

6.4. Adjustable Vibration

The dual vibration motors provide haptic feedback. You can adjust the intensity.

1. Press and hold the Turbo button, then move the left joystick up/down to cycle through four vibration levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, and Off.

6.5. RGB Lighting

The gamepad features dynamic RGB lighting with various effects and a memory function.

1. Press the RGB button (located near the Home button) to cycle through different lighting modes: Baby Blue, Blue, Green, Cyan, Purple, Pink, Red, Colorful modes, breathing loop, and light-off.
2. The gamepad will automatically save your last selected lighting setting.

6.6. Built-In Audio & Motion Controls

• 3.5mm Audio Jack: Connect a stereo headset to the 3.5mm jack for audio output in PS4 wired mode, PC, and Steam Deck.
• 6-Axis Motion Sensor: The integrated motion sensor provides enhanced control in compatible games.
• Touchpad: The touchpad functions as an input device for compatible games and system navigation.

6.7. Smart Power Management

• Auto Sleep: The gamepad will automatically enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life. Press the Home button to wake it up.
• Auto Reconnect: The gamepad will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your gamepad.

• Do not expose the gamepad to high temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1. Connection Issues

• Gamepad not connecting/recognized:
  • Ensure the gamepad is sufficiently charged.
  • Verify the correct connection mode (2.4G dongle, Bluetooth, or wired) is selected and properly initiated.
  • For 2.4G, ensure the dongle is securely plugged in.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and the gamepad is in pairing mode. Try unpairing and re-pairing.
  • Try connecting the gamepad via the USB-C cable to confirm basic functionality.
  • Restart your device (PC, console, phone).
• Frequent disconnections:
  • Ensure the gamepad is within the operating range (up to 10m for 2.4G, 6m for Bluetooth audio).
  • Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
  • Ensure the gamepad has sufficient battery charge.

8.2. Button/Joystick/Trigger Issues

• Buttons not responding:
  • Test the gamepad in a different game or system to isolate the issue.

• Stick drift or unresponsive joysticks/triggers:
  • While Hall Effect technology minimizes drift, extreme conditions or software issues can sometimes cause problems. Try recalibrating if your system allows, or perform a factory reset.

8.3. RGB Lighting Not Working

• Ensure the gamepad is powered on.
• Press the RGB button to cycle through modes.
• If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.

8.4. Factory Reset

If the gamepad is unresponsive or behaving erratically, a factory reset can resolve many issues.

1. Locate the small reset pinhole on the back of the gamepad.
2. Use a thin, pointed object (like a paperclip) to press and hold the reset button inside the pinhole for 3-5 seconds.
3. The gamepad will power off and reset to its default settings.
