4.2 Charging Modes

The inverter offers four distinct charging modes to optimize battery charging based on available power sources.

  • Solar First: Prioritizes solar power for charging. Grid charging starts only if PV fails.
  • Mains First: Prioritizes mains power for charging. PV charging starts only if mains fails.
  • Hybrid Charging: Prioritizes PV MPPT charging, supplementing with mains power if PV energy is insufficient.
  • Only Solar: Only PV charging is initiated; no mains charging.

4.3 Output Modes

Select from four output modes to manage power delivery to your loads.

  • Solar First: Maximizes the use of green solar energy. Suitable for regions with stable power grids.
  • Mains First: Switches to inverter power supply only when Mains power has failed (UPS function).
  • Inverter First: Switches to Mains power supply only when the battery is under-voltage. Maximizes DC energy use.
  • Hybrid Output and Grid Connection: In utility bypass state, if no battery is connected or battery is full, load is supplied by PV and utility. Surplus PV can be fed back to the grid if grid connection is enabled.
