3. Setup and Installation

4. Operating Instructions
The Newday ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control.
Remote Control Functions:
- Light ON/OFF: Press the 'Light On' or 'Light Off' button.
- Fan ON/OFF: Press the central fan button.
- Fan Speed (1-6): Press buttons '1' through '6' to select desired fan speed.
- Sleep Mode: In sleep mode, speeds 1, 2, and 3 will cycle every 20 seconds to simulate natural wind.
- Color Temperature Adjustment:
- Press 'WW' for warm light. Long press 'WW' to gradually decrease color temperature (towards 3000K).
- Press 'DW' for cool light. Long press 'DW' to gradually increase color temperature (towards 6500K).
- Press 'NW' for natural white light (4200K).
- Brightness Adjustment: Press '+' to increase brightness and '-' to decrease brightness continuously (20%-100%).
- Timer: Press '1H', '3H', or '6H' to set the fan to turn off after 1, 3, or 6 hours respectively. Note: If you use the remote control after setting the timer, the timer function will be automatically canceled.
- Summer/Winter Mode (Reverse Function): Press the reverse button (often indicated by a circular arrow icon). The fan will slowly stop and then begin rotating in the opposite direction. In summer, the fan rotates counter-clockwise for downward airflow. In winter, it rotates clockwise for upward airflow to balance room heating.

5. Maintenance
