3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the scale platform on a firm, level, and stable surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy.

- To turn off the scale, press and hold the On/Off button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve power.

- With the scale on, press the Mode button (U symbol) to cycle through the available weighing units: pounds (lbs), kilograms (kg), ounces (oz), and pounds:ounces (lb:oz).
