Wipe the radio's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the Type-C port and earphone jack are free of dust and debris.
5.3 Storage
Store the radio in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Radio does not power on. | Battery is low or not installed correctly. | Charge the battery or re-install it properly. |
| Cannot transmit or receive. | Incorrect frequency/channel, antenna not attached, or out of range. | Verify frequency/channel settings. Ensure antenna is securely attached. Move closer to the other radio or repeater. |
| Poor audio quality. | Low battery, weak signal, or incorrect squelch setting. | Charge battery. Adjust squelch level. Ensure clear line of sight. |
| Frequency matching fails. | Radios are too far apart or the transmitting radio is not active. | Bring radios closer. Ensure the target radio is transmitting during the scan. |
Important Note: When transmitting, ensure your operation complies with local radio licensing regulations (e.g., Ham Radio License) in your region.
