Important Safety Information
Always operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. Keep children and pets away from the generator during operation. Ensure proper grounding before use. Do not operate in rain or wet conditions. Refer to all warning labels on the generator.

Carbon Monoxide (CO) Safety
Your generator is equipped with a CO Sensor that automatically shuts down the unit if dangerous carbon monoxide levels are detected. This feature is designed for safety but does not replace the need for proper ventilation.
Overload Protection
The generator includes overload protection to prevent damage to the unit and connected appliances. If an overload occurs, the circuit breaker will trip. Reduce the load and reset the breaker.
Low Oil Shutoff
The engine will automatically shut down if the oil level drops below a safe operating threshold, protecting the engine from damage.
Setup
Unpacking and Initial Assembly
Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging. The package includes essential accessories for immediate use.

Adding Engine Oil
Before first use, add the supplied engine oil to the crankcase. Use the provided funnel and extension hose for easier filling. The generator requires approximately 0.36 gallons of engine oil. Ensure the oil level is at the full mark on the dipstick.
Battery Connection
Connect the battery terminals as instructed. Ensure a secure connection for reliable electric starting.
Fueling the Generator
The Gidrox GNV 11000W is a tri-fuel generator, capable of running on Gasoline, Propane (LPG), or Natural Gas (NG).
- Gasoline: Fill the 8.7-gallon fuel tank with unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill.
- Propane (LPG): Connect the supplied LPG hose to a propane tank and the generator's inlet.
- Natural Gas (NG): Connect the supplied NG hose to a natural gas source and the generator's inlet.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your generator.
Oil Changes
Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine oil fill image in the Setup section for guidance.
Spark Plug Maintenance
Inspect the spark plug periodically. Clean or replace it as needed using the supplied spark plug wrench.
Air Filter Cleaning
Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
Carburetor Draining (for Gasoline)
If storing the generator for an extended period, especially when using gasoline, drain the carburetor bowl to prevent fuel degradation and starting issues. This helps prevent clogs and ensures easier starts after storage.
Storage
When storing the generator, especially for long periods, ensure the fuel system is properly prepared (drained for gasoline, shut off for propane/natural gas). Cover the generator with the provided dust cover to protect it from elements.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your generator.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine does not start | No fuel, low oil, battery not connected, spark plug issue, fuel switch incorrect. | Check fuel level/connection, add oil, connect battery, inspect spark plug, ensure correct fuel selection. |
| No power output | Circuit breaker tripped, ECO mode engaged with high load, overload. | Reset circuit breaker, disengage ECO mode if necessary, reduce connected load. |
| CO Sensor shutdown | High carbon monoxide levels detected. | Move generator to a well-ventilated outdoor area. Do not operate indoors. |
| Engine runs rough | Stale fuel, dirty air filter, spark plug issue. | Use fresh fuel, clean/replace air filter, inspect/replace spark plug. |
