How to Wear and Adjust
Wearing Instructions:
- With the Sylong logo facing up, slide the brace onto your arm, positioning your elbow comfortably in the central opening.
- Secure the four adjustable Velcro straps, starting from the top, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. Avoid overtightening to maintain circulation.
- For initial use, wear the brace for 4-6 hours per day (divided into 3 sessions). Gradually extend wearing time if no discomfort occurs. Discontinue use if noticeable discomfort is experienced.
Adjusting Angle Supports:
The brace includes three interchangeable metal brackets to fix your elbow at different angles:
- 180° (Straight): For maximum immobilization, ideal for nighttime use to prevent elbow flexion.
- 150° (Slight Flexion): Provides a natural, comfortable angle, suitable for both day and night use.
- 120° (Moderate Flexion): Allows for some movement while providing support, recommended for daytime activities like typing.
To change the metal bracket:
- Locate the pocket on the brace where the current metal bracket is inserted.
- Carefully slide out the existing bracket.
- Insert the desired angle bracket into the pocket, ensuring it is fully seated and secure.
