3. Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the stainless steel trays and the lid in warm, soapy water. The trays are dishwasher-safe (max 70°C/160°F). Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
- Assemble: Place the base unit on a clean, dry, and stable surface. Stack the stainless steel trays onto the base. The trays can be rotated 180° to adjust the spacing between them, allowing for thicker items. Place the lid on top.

4. Operating Instructions
Preparing Food for Dehydration:
- Wash and thoroughly clean the food items.
- Slice food into uniform pieces for even drying. Thinner slices dry faster.
- Arrange food in a single layer on the trays, ensuring there is space between pieces for air circulation. Do not overlap.
Using the Control Panel:

) until the temperature indicator is active. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature between 95°F and 160°F. - Set Timer: Press the Temp/Time button again until the timer indicator is active. Use the + and - buttons to set the drying time from 1 to 48 hours.
- Start Dehydration: The dehydrator will automatically start once the settings are confirmed. The display will show the remaining time and current temperature.
- Auto Shut-off: The appliance will automatically turn off once the set drying time has elapsed.
Drying Process:
Monitor the food periodically. Drying times vary based on food type, thickness, moisture content, and desired dryness. Refer to the included recipe book for recommended temperatures and times for various foods.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your dehydrator.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Trays and Lid: The stainless steel trays and the lid are dishwasher-safe (maximum temperature 70°C/160°F). Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surface.
