2. Setup and Assembly
This chicken coop is designed for easy assembly. Follow the included hardware and instructions carefully to ensure proper construction and stability. All necessary components are provided.
2.1 Movable Design
The coop is equipped with two 5.9-inch diameter wheels and a handrail for easy relocation. When moving the coop, ensure it is slightly elevated to prevent dragging on the ground, especially on grass.

2.2 Secure Construction
Constructed from premium natural fir wood and treated with a waterproof, non-toxic varnish, this coop offers a safe environment for your poultry. A support bar across the run cage helps maintain structural integrity over time.
2.3 Waterproof Roof
The hen house features a waterproof PVC roof designed to protect your animals from adverse weather conditions. This modern PVC roof offers better weatherproofing compared to traditional wooden roofs.

2.4 Nesting Boxes and Entrances
The coop includes two large nesting boxes for hens to relax and lay eggs. These boxes feature a removable divider for size adjustment and a lockable lid to prevent predators from accessing the eggs. Multiple entrances, including lockable doors, provide easy access for both chickens and owners.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Moving the Coop
To move the chicken coop, grasp the handrail and lift slightly to engage the wheels. Roll the coop to your desired location. Remember to elevate the coop when moving it on uneven terrain or grass to prevent damage to the base or entanglement.
3.2 Accessing Chickens and Eggs
- Main House: Chickens can access the main house via a ramp from the ground activity area.
- Nesting Boxes: Eggs can be collected from the nesting boxes by opening the lockable lid on the side. The nesting boxes are also accessible from a side coop entrance.
- Run Area: The ground activity area provides ample space for chickens to roam. Access to this area is through a side door.
3.3 Chicken Capacity
This chicken coop is suitable for housing 4-6 chickens, depending on their size and breed.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Coop
The chicken coop is designed for easy cleaning. It includes a pull-out tray located beneath the main house area, which can be removed for convenient waste disposal. The roof of the main house can also be opened to facilitate thorough cleaning of the interior.
4.2 Nesting Box Maintenance
Regularly clean the nesting boxes and replace bedding material (e.g., straw) to ensure a hygienic environment for egg-laying. The removable divider can be adjusted or removed for easier cleaning.
4.3 Wood Care
The natural fir wood is treated with a waterproof and non-toxic varnish. To prolong the life of the coop, periodically inspect the wood for any signs of wear or damage and reapply a suitable non-toxic wood sealant if necessary.
5. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Moving: Ensure the wheels are free of debris and the coop is slightly lifted when attempting to move it.
- Security Concerns: Regularly check all latches and locks on doors and nesting boxes to ensure they are securely fastened.
- Cleaning Tray Stuck: If the pull-out tray is difficult to remove, ensure it is empty and gently wiggle it from side to side while pulling. Avoid forcing the tray.
