Setup

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button located on the device to turn it on or off. When turned on, the UV insect killing light will activate.
  2. UV Insect Killing Mode: The UV light (365-395 nm wavelength) automatically attracts mosquitoes, flies, and other pests to the high-voltage electric grid. This mode operates whenever the device is powered on.
  3. LED Light Modes: The device features an independent LED light with multiple settings. Press the top button to cycle through the LED light modes:
    • Low Brightness: Provides soft ambient lighting.
    • High Brightness: Offers brighter illumination for tasks or larger areas.
    • Flashing (SOS) Light: Can be used as an emergency signal.
  4. Extendable Length and Adjustable Angle: The integrated LED light can be extended up to 43cm and its head can be adjusted 180 degrees to direct illumination as needed.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning of the insect collection tray is essential for optimal performance.

  1. Disconnect Power: Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged from any power source.
  2. Remove Collection Tray: Gently twist and pull the removable tray located at the bottom of the device to detach it.
  3. Clean Debris: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any insect debris from the tray and the electric grid. Tap the device gently to dislodge any remaining insects.
  4. Rinse and Dry Tray: The collection tray can be rinsed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
  5. Reattach Tray: Align the tray and twist it back into place until securely fastened.
