3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Light

1. Attach the included 1/4-20in to Baby Pin Adapter with Tilt to a compatible light stand or tripod.
2. Securely mount the Amaran Halo 100x light unit onto the adapter. Ensure the light is stable before proceeding.

3.2 Powering the Light

The Amaran Halo 100x offers flexible power options:

• AC Power: Connect the Amaran AC to DC 100W Power Adapter to the light's DC IN port, then plug the IEC C13 AC Power Cable into the adapter and a wall outlet.
• USB-C PD: For portable use, connect a compatible USB-C PD power source (e.g., power bank, Amaran Peak series battery with optional Ace E-Lock Adapter) to the USB-C PD input port. Ensure the power source can deliver sufficient wattage for desired output.
