2.1 Laser Safety
- This product is a Class 2 laser product. Do not stare directly into the laser beam.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam.
- Do not aim the laser beam at people or animals.
- Do not modify the laser device. Unauthorized modifications may increase the laser radiation emission above Class 2 limits.
- Use the provided laser goggles to enhance visibility, but note they do not protect against direct laser exposure.

4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply (Battery Installation)
The DIYtoolifz laser level is compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries (battery and charger are NOT included). To install a battery:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the side of the laser level.
- Insert a charged DeWalt 20V battery into the compartment, ensuring proper alignment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Mounting Options
The laser level offers versatile mounting options:
- Tripod Mounting: The laser level features a 1/4"-20 standard thread for attachment to the included 39-inch foldable tripod or any standard tripod. When mounting to the tripod, ensure you first attach the threaded adapter (included in the product packaging) to the tripod for proper thread alignment.
- Magnetic Bracket: Use the magnetic bracket to attach the laser level to metal studs or frames. The bracket allows for 360° rotation and fine adjustment. For non-metal surfaces, utilize the included metal plate to create a magnetic attachment point.
- Lifting Platform: The included mini lifting platform provides additional height adjustment for precise positioning on flat surfaces.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button on the control panel to turn the laser level on or off.
5.2 Self-Leveling Mode
When powered on, the laser level automatically enters self-leveling mode. It will self-level within a ±3° tilt range. If the device is placed on a surface exceeding this range, it will emit an audible alarm (beep) to indicate it cannot self-level. Adjust the device's position until the alarm stops and the laser lines stabilize.

5.3 Manual / Slash Mode
To project laser lines at any angle (e.g., for stair railings or decorative patterns), activate Manual/Slash Mode:
- Long-press the middle button (Vertical Line 1 control) on the control panel.
- In this mode, the self-leveling function and the tilt alarm will be turned off.
5.4 Laser Flash Mode
To boost line visibility for quick tracking and alignment:
- Long-press the 'A' button (Horizontal Line control) on the control panel to activate or deactivate the laser flash mode.
5.5 Line Control and Remote Operation
The laser level projects 16 lines across two horizontal and two vertical planes, creating a 4D workspace. Each laser line can be controlled independently using the buttons on the control panel or the included remote control.
- Control Panel Buttons:
- Button A: Horizontal Line Control (Long-press for Laser Flash Mode)
- Button B: Vertical Line 2 Control
- Button C: Vertical Line 1 Control (Long-press for Manual/Slash Mode)
- Remote Control: The remote control allows you to switch laser line modes remotely without needing to be near the device, enhancing flexibility and efficiency.

5.6 Applications

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your laser level.
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the laser apertures are clean and free of dust.
- Storage: Store the laser level in its portable tool storage box in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.
- Calibration: While the device is factory calibrated, regular checks for accuracy are recommended, especially after impacts or prolonged use. Refer to professional calibration services if accuracy issues persist.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your laser level, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
