4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playtime.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "IP640" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will remain solid.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a wider stereo soundstage, you can pair two IP640 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both IP640 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker, press the TWS button (often indicated by a chain link icon). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once TWS pairing is successful.
  4. Connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.1. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

5.3 Playback Modes

The IP640 supports multiple audio input sources:

  • Bluetooth: Wireless connection to compatible devices.
  • TF Card: Insert a MicroSD card with audio files into the TF card slot.
  • USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive with audio files into the USB port.
  • AUX: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX port.
  • FM Radio: The speaker can tune into FM radio stations.

Press the Mode button to cycle through the available playback modes.

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.

5.5 RGB Light Control

The IP640 features dynamic RGB lighting. Press the Light button to cycle through different lighting modes, including breathing effects and rhythm control that pulses to the beat of your music. Press and hold the Light button to turn the lights off or on.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting other devices.

6.2 Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every three months to prolong battery life.
