Espresso Extraction
The Gevi espresso machine features an intuitive touch control panel with options for single shot, double shot, and manual extraction. The dual display monitors extraction pressure and time in real-time, ensuring precise control over your brew.
- Prepare the Portafilter: Insert the desired filter basket (single or double shot) into the 58mm commercial-grade portafilter. Fill with freshly ground coffee, ensuring an even distribution. Use the included tamper to press the coffee grounds firmly.
- Attach Portafilter: Align the portafilter with the group head and twist it firmly to the right until it locks into place.
- Place Cup: Position your espresso cup(s) on the drip tray directly beneath the portafilter spouts.

Milk Frothing
The semi-automatic steam wand is equipped with a three-hole nozzle and offers two steam options: Mild Mode and Strong Mode, allowing you to create barista-level microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Prepare Milk: Fill the stainless steel milk frothing pitcher (included) with cold milk.
- Activate Steam: Turn the control knob on the side of the machine towards the steam icon. The steam button on the control panel will illuminate.
- Purge Steam Wand: Briefly open the steam valve to purge any condensed water from the wand before frothing. Close the valve.
- Froth Milk: Immerse the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam valve fully. Move the pitcher up and down to incorporate air and create microfoam. Once desired texture and temperature are reached, close the steam valve and remove the pitcher.
- Clean Steam Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and briefly open the steam valve again to clear any milk residue.

Precision Extraction and Temperature Control
The Smart OPV and three-way solenoid valve maintain stable extraction pressure between 9-12 bar, preventing over-extraction. PID+NTC temperature control technology offers three precise temperature options (197.6°F/92°C, 201.2°F/94°C, 204.8°F/96°C) to optimize coffee flavor.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Drip Tray
The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning. Regularly empty and wash the drip tray to prevent accumulation of water and coffee residue. This helps maintain hygiene and prevents odors.
Cleaning the Steam Wand
After each use, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth. Periodically, use the included cleaning needle to clear any blockages in the nozzle holes. This ensures optimal steam performance and prevents milk buildup.
Water Tank Cleaning
The detachable water tank can be easily removed and rinsed with water. For thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Ensure it is completely dry before re-installing.
Exterior Cleaning
The machine features a thickened stainless steel exterior with multiple protective layers, making it durable and easy to clean. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the finish.

- Leaking: Check that the portafilter is securely locked into the group head. Ensure the water tank is properly seated.
- Machine Shuts Off: Verify the power connection. If the machine unexpectedly shuts off, contact customer support.
- No Steam from Wand: Ensure the machine has fully heated up and the steam function is activated. Purge the wand to clear any water. Check for blockages in the nozzle.
