Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your HARPPA Cuddly Rocking Baby Bassinet, Model B15A. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference. This bassinet is designed to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for infants from birth up to 5 months or when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, whichever comes first. The maximum weight capacity is 20 pounds (9 kg).

Important Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants have suffocated in bassinets.
• NEVER use soft bedding such as quilts, pillows, or extra padding.
• ONLY use the mattress provided by the manufacturer.
• FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this product once the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 20 lbs (9 kg), or is 5 months old, whichever comes first.
• ALWAYS ensure the bassinet is placed on a firm, horizontal surface.
• NEVER leave an infant unattended in the bassinet.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
• Regularly check all fasteners and connections to ensure they are secure.
• Do not modify the product or use accessories not approved by the manufacturer.
• When using the wheels, ensure the Support Tube with Wheels is installed with the pointed end outward and aligned with the wheel lock.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your bassinet. Ensure all parts click securely into place.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
2. Assemble the Base Frame: Connect the support tubes to form the base. Ensure the support tube with wheels is installed with the pointed end outward and aligned with the wheel lock.
3. Attach the Bassinet Body: Secure the bassinet sleeping area to the assembled base frame. Listen for a click to confirm it is locked.
4. Insert Mattress: Place the provided mattress into the bassinet. Ensure it fits snugly without gaps.
5. Install Storage Basket: Attach the large storage basket to the designated hooks or clips on the lower frame.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjustable Height

The bassinet features five adjustable height levels to match various bed heights. To adjust, locate the height adjustment buttons on the side supports, press them, and slide the bassinet body up or down to the desired level. Ensure both sides are adjusted equally and lock into place.

2. Bedside Sleeper Mode

To use as a bedside sleeper, lower one side of the bassinet by unzipping the mesh panel. Position the bassinet next to your bed and use the included safety straps to secure it to your bed frame. Ensure there is no gap between the bassinet and your mattress.

3. Manual Rocking Mode

The bassinet can be set to a manual rocking mode to gently soothe your baby. To activate, ensure the wheels are locked or removed, and the bassinet is on a flat surface. Gently push the bassinet to initiate a rocking motion.

4. Incline Adjustment

For infants with reflux or congestion, the bassinet offers a gentle incline adjustment (3-7 degrees). To adjust, follow the height adjustment steps but set one side slightly higher than the other. Ensure the incline is subtle and safe for the infant.

5. Mobile & Storage

The bassinet is equipped with smooth-rolling, lockable wheels for easy mobility. To move, unlock the wheels. To secure in place, lock the wheels. The under-bassinet basket provides convenient storage for baby essentials.

Care and Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Mattress and Cover

The mattress cover is washable. Remove the cover and machine wash according to the care label instructions. The 4D Air Fiber core of the mattress is also 100% washable. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to air dry completely before reassembly.

2. Cleaning the Frame and Mesh

Wipe the aluminum and iron frame components with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The mesh sides can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.

Troubleshooting

• Bassinet feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely locked. Check that the bassinet is on a flat, level surface.
• Wheels not rolling smoothly: Check for debris in the wheels. Ensure wheel locks are disengaged.
• Difficulty adjusting height: Ensure the adjustment buttons are fully pressed before attempting to slide the bassinet body.
• Mattress does not fit: Ensure the correct mattress is being used and it is positioned correctly within the bassinet frame.
