Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the appropriate batteries (e.g., 1x AAA battery for TP50) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Placement
- Place the device in the desired location. For indoor use, ensure it is away from direct sunlight, heat sources (like heaters or ovens), and vents that could affect readings.
- For the TP150 in greenhouses, ensure it is positioned to accurately reflect the general conditions of the growing space. Its IPX5 rating allows for use in high-humidity environments.
- The TP50 features a magnetic backing for easy attachment to metallic surfaces, or it can be placed on a flat surface using its kickstand.

Operating Instructions
1. Reading the Display
Both devices display current temperature and humidity readings. The TP50 also includes a comfort level indicator.
- Temperature: Shown in large digits, typically in Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).
- Humidity: Shown as a percentage (%).
2. Comfort Level Indicator (TP50)
The TP50 features an icon that indicates the current air comfort level:
- DRY: Humidity below 30%.
- COMFORT: Humidity between 30% and 60%, and temperature between 68°F and 79°F (20°C and 26°C).
- WET: Humidity above 60%.

3. High and Low Records (TP50)
The TP50 automatically records the highest and lowest temperature and humidity readings since the last reset or battery installation. These values are typically displayed below the current readings.
- To reset the high/low records, press and hold the "CLEAR" button (if available, or remove/reinsert batteries).
4. Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F)
Most ThermoPro devices allow you to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Look for a small button on the back or side of the device labeled "°C/°F" or similar. Press it to toggle between the units.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water (except for TP150 which is IPX5 rated, but still avoid full immersion).
- Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris to ensure accurate readings.
2. Battery Replacement
- When the display becomes dim or shows a low battery indicator, replace the batteries.
- Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section.
- Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
3. Storage
- If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- No Display or Dim Display:
- Check if batteries are installed correctly with correct polarity.
- Replace with fresh batteries.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the device is not placed near heat sources, direct sunlight, or vents.
- Allow the device to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after initial setup or relocation.
- For TP50, ensure the comfort indicator is not showing "DRY" or "WET" if you expect "COMFORT".
- For TP150, ensure it is not exposed to extreme conditions beyond its operating range.
- Readings Not Changing:
- The device updates every 10 seconds. Allow time for environmental changes to register.
- If readings are completely static, try removing and reinserting batteries to reset the device.
