3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and any tape securing the doors.
  2. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the retailer immediately.
  3. Remove all internal packing materials, including shelves and accessories.

3.2 Placement

This wine cooler can be installed as a freestanding unit or built into cabinetry.

  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, especially at the front grille.
  • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  • Maintain a minimum clearance of 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the back and sides for proper air circulation.

3.3 Leveling the Appliance

The appliance must be level for proper operation. Use the adjustable leveling feet at the bottom of the unit to achieve a stable and level position.

3.4 Initial Power-On

After placement, allow the appliance to stand upright for 24 to 36 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle, ensuring optimal cooling performance.

3.5 Door Handle Installation

To install the door handle:

  1. Locate the screws and handle in the packaging.
  2. Gently press the rubber gasket towards the outside of the door to reveal the screw holes.
  3. Align the handle with the screw holes and secure it with the provided screws. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel

The control panel is located at the top interior of the unit, allowing for easy temperature adjustments and light control.

  • Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
  • Light Button: Controls the interior blue LED lighting.
  • Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature in each zone.
  • Temp +/- Buttons: Adjusts the temperature for the selected zone.

4.2 Setting Temperature

This unit features dual temperature zones. The upper zone is typically for white wines (cooler), and the lower zone for red wines (warmer).

  1. Press the 'Temp +/-' buttons for the desired zone (Upper or Lower) to adjust the temperature.
  2. The temperature range for both zones is 40-65°F (5-18°C).
  3. The display will flash while adjusting and then show the current temperature once set.

4.3 Power-Outage Memory

In the event of a power interruption, the unit will automatically restore the previously set temperature settings once power is resumed, preventing quality degradation of your stored items.

4.4 Adjustable Shelves

The 5 beech wood shelves are removable and adjustable to accommodate various bottle sizes. To adjust or remove a shelf, gently slide it out. The snap-in rail design prevents accidental slippage.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and efficiency of your wine cooler.

  • Exterior: Clean the stainless steel door frame and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Interior: Wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a solution of baking soda and water.
  • Shelves: The wood shelves can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure they are dry before placing bottles back.
  • Door Gasket: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal.

5.2 Defrosting

This unit features manual defrost. If ice buildup occurs, unplug the unit and allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry before plugging the unit back in.

5.3 Carbon Purification System

The internal carbon purification system helps eliminate odors and keeps the interior fresh. Replace the carbon filter periodically as recommended by the manufacturer (check product packaging or contact support for replacement schedule).

6. Troubleshooting
