Setup & Installation

1. Preparation

Before installation, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust, grease, or moisture that could affect the adhesive's performance.

2. Mounting the LED Strip

The LED strip features a self-adhesive backing for easy installation. Peel off the protective film from the back of the strip and firmly press it onto the desired surface. For additional security, especially on rough surfaces or for long-term outdoor use, utilize the provided DIY clips. These clips can be secured with either the included screws or the 3M adhesive tape.

3. Connecting the Components

Connect the LED strip to the dimming controller using the quick connect cables. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and secure. Then, connect the dimming controller to the 24V power adapter. Finally, plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Cutting the LED Strip (Optional)

The LED strip can be customized to your desired length. It features designated cutting marks every 5cm. Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut precisely along these marks. After cutting, use the provided end caps to seal the cut ends. This step is crucial to maintain the IP65 waterproof rating for the cut sections.

Operating Instructions

1. Remote Control Functions

The included 15-key remote control allows for convenient operation of your LED strip light from up to 30 meters away with 360° coverage. Ensure the remote has fresh batteries installed.

• ON/OFF: Press to power the light on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to fine-tune the brightness from 10% to 100%. Dedicated buttons for 10%, 50%, 75%, and 100% brightness are also available for quick selection.
• Timer Function: Set the light to turn off automatically after 10, 30, or 60 seconds.
• Lighting Modes: Select from three dynamic lighting modes: Fade (gradual transition), Jump (sudden change), and Flash (rapid blinking).

2. Memory Function

The LED strip light is equipped with a memory function. When powered on, it will automatically recall the last brightness and mode settings used before it was turned off.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean the LED strip, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the strip in water. Ensure the power is disconnected before cleaning.

2. Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the power adapter is securely connected to both the LED strip and the power outlet.
  • Ensure the remote control batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Verify that the LED strip itself is not physically damaged.
• Remote control not responding:
  • Replace the remote control batteries.
  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the remote control and the dimming controller.
  • Confirm you are within the remote's operating range (up to 30 meters).
• Uneven brightness or flickering:
  • Ensure all quick connect cables and power connections are secure and properly seated.
  • Inspect the LED strip for any visible physical damage or kinks.
