3. Setup Instructions

Assembly of the LOVMOR Outdoor Dog Kennel is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly.

3.1 Unpacking and Component Identification

Carefully unpack all components from the box. Refer to the included parts list in your manual to identify each piece. All necessary screws and a wrench are provided.

3.2 Assembling the Panels

Connect the individual panels using the provided screws and nuts. The design allows for hand-tightening, but ensure all connections are secure. It is helpful to have a second person hold panels in place during this step.

3.3 Attaching the Roof Frame

Once the main wall panels are assembled, attach the roof frame pieces. These pieces connect with screws and are designed for easy alignment. Ensure all connections are firm.

3.4 Installing the Canopy

Drape the waterproof and UV-resistant canopy over the assembled roof frame. Secure the canopy to the frame using the elastic cords or ties provided, ensuring it is taut and covers the entire top area to offer maximum protection.

3.5 Securing to the Ground

For enhanced stability, especially on soft ground, use the included ground pins to anchor the kennel. Insert the pins through the designated loops at the base of the kennel and firmly push them into the soil.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Double Latch Door

The kennel features a double latch door system for secure closure. To open, disengage both latches and pull the door outwards. To close, push the door shut and ensure both latches are securely engaged to prevent accidental escapes.

4.2 Utilizing the Adjustable Feeding Bowls

The kennel includes two stainless steel feeding bowls mounted on a 360-degree rotating holder. This allows you to easily refill food and water without entering the kennel.

• Adjusting Height: The bowls can be adjusted to different heights to accommodate dogs of various sizes. Loosen the securing mechanism, slide the bowls to the desired height, and re-tighten.
• Refilling: Rotate the bowl holder outwards to access the bowls from outside the kennel. Fill with food or water, then rotate back inwards for your pet.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Frame: The powder-coated steel frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent water spots.
• Canopy Care: The waterproof canopy can be easily removed for cleaning. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching or storing to prevent mold or mildew.
• Feeding Bowls: The stainless steel bowls are removable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
• Rust Prevention: While the frame is rust-resistant, regular inspection and cleaning can prolong its lifespan, especially in humid environments.

• Kennel Instability: Ensure all screws are tightened. If on soft ground, verify ground pins are fully inserted and consider adding additional anchors if needed.
• Difficulty with Latch: Check for any obstructions or misalignment. Ensure the door is properly seated in the frame before attempting to latch.
• Canopy Sagging: Re-adjust the elastic cords or ties to ensure the canopy is pulled taut across the roof frame.
