Please read all instructions carefully before using the UBBO Z18 Dehumidifier. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating label on the dehumidifier.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If damaged, contact customer support.
- Always place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
- Maintain at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for proper airflow.
- Do not insert objects into the air vents or any openings.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning, maintenance, or when not in use for extended periods.
- Do not use the dehumidifier in areas where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all accessories from the packaging.
- Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Retain the packaging for future storage or shipping.
3.2 Placement
Place the dehumidifier in a location where it can effectively remove moisture. Ensure adequate air circulation.
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for optimal airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, such as radiators or ovens, or in direct sunlight.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet.

3.3 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure the outlet meets the power requirements specified on the unit's rating label.
4. Operation
4.1 Control Panel
The control panel is located on the front of the unit and features intuitive touch buttons for various functions.
4.2 Power On/Off
- Press the On/Off button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
- When turned on, the unit will start operating in its default mode.
4.3 Sleep Mode
Sleep Mode reduces fan speed and light intensity for quieter operation, ideal for bedrooms.
- Press the Sleep button to activate Sleep Mode.
- The unit will operate at a whisper-quiet 35 dB.
- Press the button again to exit Sleep Mode.

4.4 Timer Function
Set the dehumidifier to automatically shut off after a specified period.
- Press the Timer button to cycle through 8, 16, or 24-hour settings.
- The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

4.5 Ambient Light Control
Customize the ambient light to suit your preference.
- Press the Light button to cycle through the 7 available colors.
- Press and hold the Light button to turn the light off or to lock it on a specific color.

4.6 Aromatherapy Function
Enhance your environment with pleasant scents using the integrated aromatherapy box.
- Open the aromatherapy box cover (usually located near the air outlet).
- Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aromatherapy pad.
- Close the cover. The dehumidifier will circulate scented air as it operates.

5. Drainage
5.1 Auto Shut-Off & Overflow Protection
The dehumidifier is equipped with an auto shut-off feature to prevent overflow. When the water tank is full:
- The unit will automatically stop operation.
- A red indicator light will illuminate.
- Five audible beeps will sound to alert you to empty the tank.

5.2 Manual Drainage (Emptying the Water Tank)
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Carefully pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
- Empty the collected water into a sink or drain.
- Slide the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.
- Plug in the dehumidifier and turn it on to resume operation.
5.3 Continuous Drainage
For continuous operation without manually emptying the tank, use the included drain hose.
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it.
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet on the back of the unit.
- Remove the rubber stopper from the drainage outlet.
- Connect one end of the provided drain hose to the outlet, ensuring a secure fit.
- Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket), ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
- Plug in the dehumidifier and turn it on. Water will now drain continuously.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank
- Empty the water tank as described in Section 5.2.
- Rinse the tank with clean water. For stubborn residue, use a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
- Ensure the tank is thoroughly dry before reinserting it into the unit.
- Clean the water tank every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently if used in dusty environments.
6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The dehumidifier is equipped with a washable filter to capture dust and particles.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Locate the air filter cover (refer to Figure 4.4 for general location).
- Remove the filter from its slot.
- Gently clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
- Reinsert the dry filter and close the cover.
- Clean the filter every 2 weeks or as needed, depending on usage and air quality.
6.3 Cleaning the Aromatherapy Box
- Remove the aromatherapy pad from the box.
- Wash the pad with mild soap and water, or replace it if heavily soiled.
- Wipe the inside of the aromatherapy box with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
