If using a microSD card for local storage, regularly check its status in the Geeni app. Format the card periodically to maintain optimal recording performance and free up space.

Troubleshooting

  • Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Check that the camera is within range of your router. Restart your router and the camera, then attempt pairing again.
  • Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check your Wi-Fi signal strength; a weak signal can affect video streaming quality.
  • Battery draining quickly: Verify the solar panel is receiving adequate direct sunlight for at least 12 hours daily. Reduce the frequency of motion alerts or live view usage, as these consume battery power.
  • Motion detection not working: Check motion detection settings in the Geeni app, including sensitivity and detection zones. Ensure the camera's firmware is up to date.
  • 2-Way Audio issues: Ensure your phone's volume is up and the microphone permission is granted to the Geeni app. Check the camera's speaker and microphone for any obstructions.
