Your OYLUS Mini Split system comes in two boxes. Please verify all components are present before beginning installation.

Key Installation Steps:
- Preparation: Gather all necessary tools (e.g., hex wrenches, torque wrench, drill, level, vacuum pump). Ensure the installation area is free from heat sources, smoke, oil, or obstructions.
- Indoor Unit Mounting:
- Remove the mounting bracket from the indoor unit.
- Use the provided paper pattern to mark drilling locations on a hard, flat, and firm wall.
- Drill holes for screws and the main wall penetration (ensure a slight downward inclination for drainage).
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall.
- Connect the communication cable and refrigerant pipes to the indoor unit, ensuring tight connections.
- Wrap pipes and wires neatly with plastic tape.
- Hang the indoor unit on the mounting bracket, feeding pipes and wires through the wall penetration.
- Seal the wall penetration with putty and protection rings.
- Outdoor Unit Placement:
- Place the outdoor unit in a suitable location, either on a wall bracket (purchased separately) or on the ground (using rubber pads for vibration reduction).
- Connect the refrigerant pipes and communication cable to the outdoor unit, ensuring snug and tightened joints.
- Fix the wires of the power cable and communication cable to the corresponding terminals.
- Vacuuming the System:
- Connect a vacuum pump and manifold gauge to the outdoor unit's service ports.
- Vacuum the system for at least 15 minutes until the pressure gauge reads ≤ -0.1MPa (-76cmHg / 500µm).
- Maintain the vacuum for 35 minutes to check for leaks (pressure should not spring back by more than 0.05MPa).
- Open the liquid and gas valves using an Allen wrench, then re-tighten the caps.
- Trial Operation:
- Pour 500ml of water along the indoor unit's evaporator (about 20 seconds) to check for proper drainage from the outdoor pipe.
