Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that the following components are present:
- Motorola Moto G86 Power Smartphone
- USB Cable
- Quick Start Guide (if included)
- SIM Ejector Tool (if included)
Inspect the device for any visible damage. If any components are missing or damaged, contact your retailer.
2. Inserting the SIM Card and microSD Card (Optional)
The Moto G86 Power supports Dual-SIM functionality. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device. Use the SIM ejector tool to open the tray.

Place your Nano-SIM card(s) into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards. If using a microSD card for expanded storage, insert it into its dedicated slot (if available on the same tray). Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone.
3. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the device battery. Connect the USB cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.
4. Powering On and Initial Configuration
Press and hold the Power button (located on the side of the device) until the Motorola logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Navigation
- Home Screen: Swipe left or right to access different home screens.
- App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view all installed applications.
- Notifications Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access notifications and quick settings.
- Back, Home, and Recent Apps: Use the on-screen navigation buttons or gestures (if enabled) to navigate.
2. Making Calls and Sending Messages
Tap the Phone icon to make calls. Enter the number or select a contact. Tap the Messages icon to send SMS/MMS messages. Select a contact or enter a number, then type your message.
3. Camera Usage
Tap the Camera icon to open the camera application. Tap the shutter button to take photos. Swipe left or right to switch between photo and video modes. Tap the camera switch icon to toggle between front and rear cameras.

4. Connecting to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth to pair with Bluetooth devices.

1. Software Updates
Regularly check for software updates to ensure your device has the latest features and security patches. Go to Settings > System > System updates.
2. Cleaning Your Device
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of your phone. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Do not immerse the device in water.

Troubleshooting
Device Not Turning On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a charger for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on.
- Press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds to perform a force restart.
Poor Network Signal
- Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted.
- Move to an area with better network coverage.
- Restart the device.
- Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network and ensure your preferred network type is selected.
Applications Crashing or Freezing
- Close and reopen the application.
- Clear the app's cache: Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear cache.
