1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and care of your Rattan LF PRO Electric Folding Bicycle. Please read it thoroughly before your first ride and keep it for future reference. Adhering to these instructions will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your e-bike.

Safety Warnings

2. Setup and Initial Assembly

Your Rattan e-bike arrives 95% pre-assembled. Minimal assembly is required to get you ready for your first ride.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Unfold the handlebar stem and secure it in place. Adjust the handlebar height and angle for comfortable riding. Ensure all quick-release levers are tightened.
  3. Pedal Attachment: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms by hand, then tighten securely with a wrench. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread.
  4. Saddle Installation: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height. Secure the quick-release clamp.
  5. Battery Installation and Initial Charge:

    The 48V 18Ah lithium battery is integrated and removable. Insert the battery into its compartment and ensure it clicks securely into place. Before first use, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when fully charged.

Pedal Assist System (PAS):
