3. Physical Overview and Controls

3.1 Ports and Buttons

The monitor features multiple ports for connectivity and buttons for OSD (On-Screen Display) menu navigation.

  • USB-C Ports (x2): For power delivery and video signal (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
  • Mini HDMI Port: For video signal input.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting external headphones or speakers.

3.2 Integrated Stand

4. Setup and Connection

Ensure the monitor is placed on a stable surface before connecting. The monitor can be powered and receive video signal via a single USB-C cable if your device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and power delivery. Alternatively, use HDMI for video and a USB-C cable for power.

4.1 Connecting to a Laptop/PC

Using USB-C (Full-featured):

  1. Connect one end of the Type-C to Type-C cable to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop/PC.
  2. Connect the other end to one of the USB-C ports on the portable monitor.
  3. The monitor should automatically detect the signal and power on.

Using HDMI and USB-C (for power):

  1. Connect one end of the Mini HDMI to HDMI cable to the Mini HDMI port on the monitor.
  2. Connect the other end to the HDMI port on your laptop/PC.
  3. Connect one end of the USB-A to Type-C cable (or Type-C to Type-C cable) to a power source (e.g., laptop USB port, wall adapter) and the other end to a USB-C port on the monitor for power.

4.2 Connecting to a Smartphone/Tablet

Note: Your smartphone or tablet must support USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output. Not all USB-C ports support video output. For iPhones and older iPads (e.g., iPad Pro 2018), direct USB-C video output may not be supported without specific adapters or compatibility.

  1. Connect one end of the Type-C to Type-C cable to your compatible smartphone/tablet.
  2. Connect the other end to one of the USB-C ports on the portable monitor.
  3. The monitor should display the content from your device.

4.3 Connecting to Gaming Consoles (PS5, Xbox, Switch)

Gaming consoles typically use HDMI for video output.

  1. Connect one end of the Mini HDMI to HDMI cable to the Mini HDMI port on the monitor.
  2. Connect the other end to the HDMI output of your gaming console.
  3. Connect a USB-A to Type-C cable (or Type-C to Type-C cable) from a power source (e.g., console USB port, wall adapter) to a USB-C port on the monitor for power.

4.4 Connecting to Raspberry Pi / Mini PC

Similar to gaming consoles, these devices typically use HDMI for video output.

  1. Connect one end of the Mini HDMI to HDMI cable to the Mini HDMI port on the monitor.
  2. Connect the other end to the HDMI output of your Raspberry Pi or Mini PC.
  3. Connect a USB-A to Type-C cable (or Type-C to Type-C cable) from a power source to a USB-C port on the monitor for power.

4.5 VESA Mounting

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Modes

Once connected, your device can utilize the portable monitor in various display modes:

  • Duplicate Mode: Mirrors the content of your primary screen.
  • Extend Mode: Extends your desktop, providing more screen real estate.
  • Second Screen Only Mode: Displays content only on the portable monitor.

These modes can typically be configured through your operating system's display settings (e.g., Windows Display Settings, macOS System Preferences).

5.2 OSD Menu Navigation

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Iproda portable monitor, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics. Gently wipe the screen to remove dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive materials.
  • Cleaning the Casing: Wipe the monitor's casing with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If transporting, use a protective sleeve or case to prevent scratches and impacts.

  • Increase the volume on your connected device.
  • Ensure your device's audio output is set to the portable monitor.
Screen flashes or flickers
