1. Introduction

The LG Sound Suite H7 Soundbar is an advanced audio system designed to deliver a truly immersive listening experience. Powered by the Alpha 11 processor, it features 9.1.6 channel spatial audio with Wireless Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. Premium Peerless drivers ensure vocal clarity and deep bass. This soundbar is expandable with compatible W7 Subwoofer and M5/M7 Speakers to create a customized sound environment.

2. Setup

2.1. What's in the Box

Before you begin, ensure all components are present:

• Soundbar
• Remote Control (with AAA x 2 Batteries)
• Wall Mount Bracket
• Warranty Card
• HDMI Cable

2.2. Physical Connection

1. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the soundbar's AC IN port and then into a wall outlet.
2. Connect to TV: Connect the supplied HDMI cable from the HDMI (eARC/ARC) port on the soundbar to the HDMI (eARC/ARC) port on your television.

Once powered on, the status bar lighting on the soundbar will display a cozy amber color.

2.3. LG ThinQ App Setup

To unlock the full potential of your LG Sound Suite H7, including Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and Sound Follow, connect it to the LG ThinQ app.

1. Install ThinQ App: Download and install the LG ThinQ app from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).
2. Create Account: Create or log in to your LG ThinQ account.
3. Add Product: In the app, search for "Sound Suite" or your specific model (H7) to add the product.
4. Power Check: Ensure your soundbar is powered on.
5. Confirm Product: Follow the on-screen prompts to select and confirm your soundbar. This may involve pressing a specific button on the soundbar.
6. Wi-Fi Connection: Enter your Wi-Fi password to connect the soundbar to your home network.
7. Registration: Keep your smartphone close to the soundbar until registration is complete.

3. Operating the Soundbar

3.1. Sound Modes

The H7 Soundbar offers various sound modes to optimize your listening experience:

• AI Sound Pro+: Intelligently upscales mono and stereo content to a spatial experience.
• Cinema: Enhances movie watching with immersive surround sound.
• Game: Optimizes audio for gaming, providing clear sound effects and dialogue.
• Music: Delivers balanced audio for music playback.
• Clear Voice: Prioritizes dialogue for clearer and crisper voices.

These modes can be selected using the remote control or through the LG ThinQ app.

3.2. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (DAFC)

DAFC allows you to place compatible wireless speakers (such as M5 or M7) anywhere in your room. The system then intelligently optimizes the audio based on room settings and speaker location for a full 3D soundscape.

To set up DAFC:

1. Ensure all DAFC-compatible speakers (M5/M7) are powered on.
2. In the LG ThinQ app, select your soundbar and choose the "Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (DAFC)" feature.
3. Tap "Edit Group" and select the speakers you wish to connect.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust speaker distances and perform calibration.

Note: DAFC requires a compatible LG TV. If your TV does not support DAFC or is from another brand, the H7 Soundbar itself is required to enable the feature.

3.3. Sound Follow

Sound Follow is a precision technology that ensures the content you're watching or listening to is always centered around you. Use the LG ThinQ app to update or adjust Sound Follow settings, giving you full control over when and how your sound adapts.

3.4. Connectivity

The H7 Soundbar supports various wireless communication technologies:

• Bluetooth: Connect your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices for audio streaming.
• Wi-Fi: Seamless integration with your home network for streaming services and smart home features.
• Apple AirPlay2: Stream audio directly from Apple devices.
• Google Cast: Stream audio from compatible apps and devices (available after June 2026).

3.5. Remote Control

The included remote control allows for easy adjustment of volume, input sources, and sound modes. The LG ThinQ app also provides comprehensive control over the soundbar's settings.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

The H7 Soundbar is engineered with a protective dust-resistant grille. To clean, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2. Software Updates

Keep your soundbar's firmware up to date for optimal performance and new features. Software updates can be performed easily through the LG ThinQ app. The app will notify you when updates are available.

• No Sound:
  • Ensure the soundbar is powered on and connected correctly to the TV via HDMI (eARC/ARC).
  • Check your TV's audio output settings to ensure it's set to HDMI ARC/eARC Device.
  • Verify that the volume on both the soundbar and TV is not muted or set too low.
• Sound Echoes:
  • If sound echoes, ensure your TV's internal speakers are turned off when using the soundbar.
  • Check for proper room calibration via the LG ThinQ app, especially if using DAFC.
• Connectivity Issues (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth):
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and the password entered in the ThinQ app is correct.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure the soundbar is in pairing mode and your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Restart both the soundbar and your connecting device.
• DAFC Speaker Issues:
  • Confirm that all DAFC-compatible speakers are powered on and within range.
  • Recalibrate the DAFC setup through the LG ThinQ app if speakers have been moved or added.
